The 12 Days of Christmas Tat: A Festive Blog Series

I hope Paul Blades makes an appearance, a truly awful player and makes Roger 'likes a tipple' Johnson look like Beckenbaur.
Like Branch and to a lesser degree Miller after him, he did well on loan, then.....

I would imagine Roger will definitely get an article, I do look forward to that one.

To be fair, If Deutsch had thought about it earlier He could easily have done a complete advent calendar of crap, and then do a completely different one next year :)

Good stuff DW. Glad you got back on it. Keep it up
EDIT: Ah another one. Good timing :D

Excellent choice, the scruffy oik

Magnificent choice.

That FA Cup Semi Final line-up still makes my blood boil.

Another excellent article.

I will be looking forward to these every day.

TBH, I have no idea how you will be able to narrow it down to just 12!

Have no fear - 'DW's 365 shit Wolves players countdown' begins on January 1st.

One thing I did admire about Claridge is when doing his 'expert' analysis of one of our games he never let his resentment towards us show through #classydude

Great article again.
I always forget how few games claridge played for us.
and that millwall game, final nail of that season. so typically horrible that he'd score.

That was such a horrible night. One of the worst away experiences I've ever had. It wasn't like we could have a pre/post match beer either. There aren't many welcoming hostelries in Mordor.

The end of the 2001-02 season provided some of my most miserable experiences as a Wolves fan. The worst I have ever felt was when Igor Balis scored that stoppage time penalty at Bradford. The nightmare, never ending coach trip back from Norwich after the play off 1st leg wasn't exactly a lot of fun either.

God yeah, so fucking grim. Being kept behind for an hour as Millwall's finest kicked off.

The coaches were parked in a gigantic cage at the back of the away end IIRC.

A fun evening.

You know, I've never had a problem at Millwall (apart from our football). One of the easiest away days there is, the OB deal with the knuckledraggers well. You're only a few minutes from London Bridge and then the city's your oyster from there. But I hasten to add I wasn't at that one, I was living in Hamburg at the time.

Getting text updates on those weeks unfolding - games on ITV Digital so not in any way accessible overseas - was grim as fuck.
