I've got Tapatalk 6.1.5 which is good, with minimal ads. Just turn off auto-update and you can forget about them ruining it every time with an update.

I've got 7.0.7 which I find easy enough to use. The ads were a bit annoying but I don't really notice them now.

Whenever they ruin it with an update they do seem to improve it a bit with the next version.

I installed it, it worked for a while and then refused to login, citing a network error. So I binned it.

Must have been some problem yesterday, after 10.30pm I couldnt log in on my phone and not the computer either.

I was having trouble too when trying to get on using my mobile. Didn't try any other method. All seems OK now.

The only niggle I have is that it's stopped giving me notifications when I get a quoted post. I've only noticed it since the android 8 update though so don't know if it's that or tapatalk. The notifications are all set up.

Yeah it'll work with any version of Android after 4.0

Just updated to new version of tapatalk and not very impressed. The unread tab which I solely use is very slow and glitchy.

I've accidentally updated to this new Tapatalk. Haven't got a clue what is going on? Where is the the unread tab??

My phone updated tapatalk last night and it seems to be running a lot smoother than previous versions. Still got loads of ads on it but I think it's the first time I've been pleased with an update.

General Chatter topics are unaccessible through the forum view, can only get to the Current Affairs section within unless you go through the unread threads view.

If the CA section was moved out of GC, and stood on it's own two feet the sponge, then I think everything would be within reach again.

Tapatalk Pro works well for me, much more like old school Tapatalk than the newer blinged version.
