Well I am not so sure it is. The land situation in the golan was agreed in 1974. And Israel have avoided sneaking any land back that belonged to Syria for fifty years. But they chose yesterday when the Syrian troops pulled out of the area as the Assad regime was crashing down to pop onto Syrian land. No doubt just out for a picnic.

Yes, but there are many other players, like IS, Joe Biden, amongst others who are pulling the strings.
You could say that IS are taking advantage of the Russians being stretched in Ukraine, or Joe Biden, who refused to give clearance for Ukraine to use long range missiles, to target Russia, until he lost the election and now miraculously, IS do in Syria in a week, what they couldn't do in 10 years.
There are a lot of evil players out there and just to concentrate on the Israeli leadership and ignoring IS and their threat to progressive ideals, is not balanced in my point of view.
