Summer 2026 Transfer Window Thread

I'd be very interested when the last time I defended Munetsi or Hwang on a footballing basis was. It hasn't happened this season. Fer getting a pass based on some mythic "ability" that he didn't actually show here is bizarre to me.

And please, don't tell me what's "beneath" me. I haven't said anything about any one person's feelings on those two. And I'm allowed my thought that sending Fer back to the club we bought him from 6 months ago is a completely damning indictment of him as a PL footballer.
Or of Edwards as head coach.

As an African fan, I’m really curious what you all think about this transfer news — Nathan Gassama linked with Wolves

On one hand, he looks like a strong and promising defender. I’ve seen him a couple of times in action, and during the African Cup he looked solid, so overall I’d be happy to see him join.:sneaky:

On the other hand… is this really the kind of signing a team plans to rely on while trying to fight for a return to the Premier League next season? Feels like a big question mark in terms of experience and readiness for that level.
What do you think, fella supporters?

I’ll be extremely excited about him and it will go horribly.

‘Tis the way of things.

Close to joining Spurs and now linked to Wolves.

Thats the footballing gods telling you its time to retire Andy (or go to the SPL, same thing really)

More chance of us re-signing Ally Robertson
Are you saying the other clubs who have randomly been linked with him are more likely to sign him?

Its only Villa and Palace, absolutely no competition there.

Wolves r waiting on Yacine Titraoui and Charleroi setting an €8M asking price 👀

€8m in today’s market isn’t crazy money, especially if the club sees something long-term in him. Feels like the type of signing where you trust the scouting department a bit — not a headline grabber, but someone who could quietly grow into a really important player for us.

I actually like these kinds of moves more than big flashy rumours. If he’s hungry and ready to prove himself, Molineux could be the perfect place for that.

No link/rumour at all. But Joe Gelhardt seems to have found his feet again. I thought he looked like a great prospect initially under Bielsa.

He’s only on loan at Hull. A reasonable target in the summer?

Not sure you could pair him and Armstrong

I think any suggestion at the moment has to be answered with, but who is staying? There's scenarios where he'd be a decent signing, although I've not seen him for a couple of years, there's others where we don't need someone in that position.

Hopefully none of them except Mane tbh

Yeah, obviously that’s for us to speculate but a competent leadership/coaching team make sure everyone is on same page ahead of summer. Fanciful I know
