Benteke to the MLS

 
Scored a hat trick in the CL qualifier in midweek. Can't see them letting go unless it's stupid money. Forest are now looking to make signings to replace their new signings.
 
At least with Batshuayi, he's a proper centre forward who's physical and quick(ish). He'll miss some absolute sitters but he'll also give us some shape and structure.

Has he taken Ben Yedder with him?
 
At least we're now getting bodies forward to support a lone striker and actually getting balls into the box more often.

That alone gives me hope that Batshuayi might be ok as and when we need him.

Starting for them in the league opener shortly too.

We *might* do that but it's a stretch to say that we definitely do based on what, three friendlies and in two of them the opposition were awful.

We didn't even have a shot in the second half against Sporting, someone like Batshuayi will be useless if we play like that.
 
Johnny Phillips has said Ruben is open to signing a new deal but wants a release clause put in and also assurances of a clean departure.

I don’t think you can call it any fairer than that. Put a release clause of about £75-80m on his head and if one of the major clubs wants to pay it, he goes with nothing but our best wishes.

He’ll go down as a Wolves legend in my eyes. Fantastic player, top man and he’s conducted himself brilliantly throughout.
