Summer 2022 Transfer Window

When was the last time we had such a brilliantly vile, shithouse?

Curle? Muscat?

I don't think Henry was personally, he didn't "cheat" like those above or Costa.

He's the type of sadistic bastard who would aswell ain't he.
Arouna Kone at Wigan did that, I hated it.

Gyan wore 3 too, and then there was our own Rui Patricio with 11, although that didn't look as bad as i expected.

Curle would be the closest. An absolute nightmare to play against but *just* about within the rules and it helped us as a team.

Muscat was just a good right back when he concentrated on his game. His prick behaviour added nothing at all and definitely was against the rules.

Henry just lost the plot now and then and got punished for it when he did. Also became King Dickhead off the pitch over time, which was a shame.

Ivan Zamorano wanted no.9 at Inter but it was taken so he wore no.18 with a small '+' between the 1 and the 8

Can't believe it .

Diego Costa playing for Wolves..........just imagine .

Plenty of other numbers available it wasn't 11 or nothing.
He wanted #1 on his back but not with a 2, 3 etc before it. Couldnt have just 1 so 11 was his only option really

The Wolves squad numbers sins XI:

-------------------------Patricio (11)----------------------

McNamara (7)-------Neill Collins (2)---Williamson (60)----Irwin (8)

Bazeley (3)----------McDonald (11)----Marshall (64)-------Cavaleiro (50)

---------------------Weimann (63)-----Dicko (40)---------------------

I kinda like the idea of keepers having 1, 11, 21, 31 as squad numbers

I don’t think Neto is a inside forward. I think he is more of a classic winger, I’ll grant you that. Podence definitely is an inside forward and Guedes is supposed to be, no idea what Hwang is.

So the manager need to change what he’s asking them to do or get them better at doing what he wants, or pick the players who can do it. Currently none of that is happening. That is my issue.

If he can’t get a tune out of the players, and he isnt’t signing the players then the only option is changing the coach
Haven't disputed any of that.

I've not backed or praised Lage to any real extent anywhere, just adding that he isn't solely to blame for the lack of fluidity, the players also carry some responsibility. Easiest way to improve the output from the squad is to change the coach to someone who's approach is more aligned to their strengths. I just don't see free flowing football as the likely outcome, I think the symbiotic relationship is a coach who leans away from that approach rather than towards it.

Did either Clapham or Gray wear 11?
