Summer 2022 Transfer Window

That will happen soon too you would think. Not going to buy a Ferrari and ask Clive Dunn to drive it.

Call me optimistic, but I’m in the camp that thinks each dollar we spent this summer shortened Bruno’s leash.

Douglas luiz not going to arsenal, even if he did go I'm not entirely sure why villa signed donk.

So as it looks to be shaking up first team squad wise versus the end of last season

Out Saiss, Coady, Boly, Cundle, Fabio, Dendoncker, Marcal, Trincao, Hoever, Ruddy (Chiquinho)

In Collins, Guedes, Nunes, Sasa, Traore, Ronan, Traore, Sarkic

Bench in a 433
Sarkic
Gomes
Mosquera
RAN/Jonny
Traore
Traore
Podence
Jimenez
Hwang

Ronan 21st man

First 11 unquestionably improved, trusting to luck in some areas injury wise.

What’s there to say? We went in to today wanting a CB + a CM.

We’ve sold a CB + a CM and bought no one in.

Classic Wolves/Shi/Sellars.

Let’s hope for a late surprise.

Classic

Traore looked very raw to me. Hope we can develop him a bit if we actually need to use him in anger.

Still an option for a CB out there of course

Then it's hoping Hugo can do the business if required...infact both our full backs in the U21's look decent prospects.

Is a fullback who is willing to come and not play going to realistically be an improvement on Bueno or Lembikisa? I'd be highly dubious.

Kind of part of our proposition too, that the youth players have a pathway to the first team. Buying pure squad players stops us doing that.

I'm comfortable with the full backs because of those youngsters, it's centre half where I think we are short and to a lesser degree centre mid

The youth players do need a pathway but ultimately if they aren't good enough you can't promote them just for the hell of it.
