Summer 2022 Transfer Window

Best thing for all concerned.

Was sick of the sight of him after a good first 18 months.

If he could continue his form at Villa that'd be swell.

I don't know how many times we've said this over the last few years and it hasn't been true, but it feels like it's in the dozens.
Hey, we replaced Fabs, took 5 weeks but we did it...

I don't doubt we're looking to replace Dendoncker, but we've given ourselves two and a half hours to do it. It's well out of our hands by this point.

Well we do know we haven't just sold Donck and gone "right, fire up FIFA time to start some scouting"

You think they've just decided to start negotiations with people?

And maybe we have, but the last word we got is that we were hoping to get a deal across the line, which can mean all sorts.

No, but starting negotiations isn't the tricky bit- that's finishing them, and they're pressed for time for something we haven't heard is particularly close yet.

At this point I will now be surprised if we get Traore done in time.

Only plus side from that will be reading Jink's response to the non signing (love you Jinkles x)

Sky saying Traore the slow Agreed, loan with £11m option

So if a centre back gets injured we’re playing Toti and if a midfielder gets injured we’re playing…?

Hopefully Traore happens!

What’s there to say? We went in to today wanting a CB + a CM.

We’ve sold a CB + a CM and bought no one in.

Classic Wolves/Shi/Sellars.

Let’s hope for a late surprise.

Does seem like the Traore deal is done. Medical taking place now. Question is, is he actually any good?

If we do get Traore, or a similar player across the line, I'm very happy with the window- I'm pretty sanguine about CB (hopefully we can still get Denayer in), and all the points about the window I've already mentioned will still be.

The midfield's a big concern right now, though.

EDIT: Never mind!
