Summer 2022 Transfer Window

It sounds like the Dario Osorio deal is pretty much done (admittedly, according to some random South American Twitter sources). Will stay in Chile on loan until the end of their season.

It's great that we are adding some good young talent alongside the big signings.

It's probably the Champ Man in me, but I fucking love signings like this. Like they could be fucking anything from Finkler to Neymar. I love it!

Only being able to clear the ball 18 yards under no pressure is not bad luck. Particularly when you’ve taken a touch to set yourself!

Because he slices it from a wide position to the centre of the pitch it means we’ve got no one to block it/put him under pressure, whereas normally you’d have tons in their in normal play. But that’s not bad luck.
Well, it was bad luck from our point of view that it fell to ASM and not another player who I don`t think would have been capable of planting one in from there.

Also I am convinced that comes off his shin, it's still decent technically as he is set up well to hit it and keep it down, but I am not as convinced he means that as others.

Manager Jesse Marsch says Leeds "are trying the best that they can" to bring in a new striker before the transfer deadline.
Leeds' four-goal striker Rodrigo Moreno was withdrawn during Tuesday's draw against Everton due to a dislocated shoulder and the Spaniard could now be sidelined for several weeks.
Asked if Rodrigo's setback would affect Leeds' search for a striker, Marsch said: "Not so much, but that's obviously been a goal of ours since the start of the summer.
"We've been active and we're trying everything we can and we'll see how it plays out here over the next 24 hours or so."
Leeds have been linked with Wolves striker Hwang Hee-chan, who played under Marsch during his spells in charge of both RB Leipzig and Red Bull Salzburg.
"I know Hee-chan very well," Marsch said. "I like Hee-chan, he knows our football. He's on our list, I can tell you that.
"Everybody is trying the best that they can. We're trying to find ways to continue to improve our squad, but we have also done a great job and you can see we have a good team."

Is it just me that thinks Hwang will move to Leeds and suddenly turn into Ronaldo or messi and be the leagues top scorer this season?

I don't think we'll sell him. If it's just for footballing reasons, then we would be, because it clearly hasn't been a good signing. But if as is suggested often enough, that he is here for building profile in overseas markets....... then the board will want to keep him and Lage will keep using him.......... hopefully at least telling him to not be within 50 yards of Sa's goal.

If we sell him at the reported £20m that will be far more profit in the short term than any profile building will bring. Can try again sometime but with an actual footballer next time!

I’d like Marsch to be given the keys to the city if it goes through.

In fairness, he's worked with him before so will be aware of what he can and can't do. Part of the issue with him here is usage, he's not a great footballer by any means but his movement off the ball is decent and he always looked a very good finisher when hes running onto passes.

Marsch will likely play him exclusively upfront rotating with bamford and he'll do ok, probably get 4/5 goals like he did for us last year.

Rodrigo's injury may be a blessing for us in that they want another forward in. But surely Bamford just comes back in to the 11 and Hwang would be left competing for one of the wider roles, which he's shit at.

He played out wide left for Marsch.
