Summer 2022 Transfer Window

With regards Hwang and his latest gaff. If that ball had gone to any other player in that position, we would have taken all three points. So a tad unfortunate. Not defending his lack of footballing skills though.

Our squad is going to look totally different from our season ending squad at this rate. Don’t think anyone saw this coming. Personally we had become stale so it’s not a bad thing.

Hopefully bruno isn’t as bad as suspected. Hate for this potential squad of players to go to waste
The good thing is that if Lage is sacked, we get a new manager who will have a pool of talent to play with.

Indeed, just depends what manager we get though. Obviously hopefully Lage turns it around and becomes pep mk 2

Only being able to clear the ball 18 yards under no pressure is not bad luck. Particularly when you’ve taken a touch to set yourself!

Because he slices it from a wide position to the centre of the pitch it means we’ve got no one to block it/put him under pressure, whereas normally you’d have tons in their in normal play. But that’s not bad luck.

Weird how he’s talking about a player of another club like that? Especially in own league. I guess in this case we just don’t care because he’s someone we’ll happily be rid of
Yes, that's against the unwritten manager code, could be viewed as tapping up I suppose and unsettling the player. I wonder if an unsettled Hwang plays well?

Maybe he's like Traore and starts putting a shift in when he thinks a move is on the cards.

He's just absolutely shit, and he'd still look shit in the Championship. I'm absolutely staggered that any recruitment team that has watched him play for us in the last 10.5 months and though "there's the player we need". He's fucking terrible. Getting actual money for him would be bordering on illegal.

I think the worst thing is he doesn’t even seem to work hard or run around a lot. When he plays on the left he just stands there and does nothing.

I saw somewhere they were just waiting on international clearance to announce it, I'm assuming he wont have been registered in time for tonights game though,

It sounds like the Dario Osorio deal is pretty much done (admittedly, according to some random South American Twitter sources). Will stay in Chile on loan until the end of their season.

It's great that we are adding some good young talent alongside the big signings.

First time I ever saw Hwang in a Wolves shirt he played on the left side of a front three and it was obvious immediately that he wasn't suitable for that role. He kept cutting inside and then passing it backwards. He doesn't have blistering pace to beat a full back, he's not skillful, his touch is fairly abysmal for a professional footballer. I thought we were potentially on to something when he scored those two goals against Newcastle, playing close/off Raul - but that very quickly became a one off and he's just gone downhill since then. His 'performance' against Liverpool last season is right up there with one of the worst ever in a Wolves shirt, certainly that I've seen. I mean, his teammates were literally laughing in his face.

We all know that we signed him for non-footballing reasons firstly. As soon as he kept getting selected when he obviously wasn't fit for purpose, it was only going to go one way. If Leeds give us anything close to £20m for him, that has to go down as the best deal of the transfer window. Just a shame it didn't happen earlier in the window so we could have put the money back in to the squad, but also so we could have had three points against Newcastle.

Absolutely appalling footballer.

I know it isn't but this reads like a bitter breakup letter.

Alannis Morrisette levels.
