Summer 2022 Transfer Window

I don't think Donck is as bad as others if used correctly, but we saw on Saturday he's not the man for the 433. The only issue with him, Adama or Hwang leaving is they will need replacing, which is a lot of work to do in a week.

He'd been fine to sit and hold if the other two midfielders were more ambitious but they'd end up also having to be the ones to drop back and take the ball from defence because Donk is terrible facing his own goal.

Pretty much this. I think you'd only play him instead of Neves in a 433 but he'd primarily just be there to break up play as he is useless at dictating tempo.

Also linked with Adam Webster. Good player but can't see us paying what Brighton would want when no guarantees he'd start at this point.

In fairness Neves' tempo isn't exactly setting the world alight at the moment, that midfield is talented but very flat.

I don't disagree. It's weird that a player as talented as Neves can't do what Leon Brittan did at the top level isn't it, I wonder if that's to do with the players around him.

has MGW shagged your bird.
your dislike has no basis ind is at times ridiculous.

last season and the start of this has shown him to be a very good prospect he is a u21 player and will be earmarked to step up if he has a decent season this year.
Who cares?

He is no longer our player so is now as relevant to me as a Bristol City player.

Neves doesn't need a lot of pace as he makes a quick pass.

You've missed the point completely. The point was that he doesn't move the ball quickly, he takes too many touches.

if we could bring in a class Striker, midfielder, and another Centre Half, whilst selling Adama, Donk, and Boly, it would be a quality Window.
This sounds ambitious considering there’s a week of the window left and they’ve not managed to sign a centre forward in several months.
