Summer 2022 Transfer Window

Being linked to Mohammed Kudus of Ajax this afternoon.

I would post a link but it upsets people ;)

Nixon is also saying Leeds are interested in Hwang if they sell Dan James. Insert *I'll drive him there myself* comment here.

I'll drive Dan James wherever he wants to go first to facilitate the second part of the deal

I'm not a Lage cheerleader, but they hadn't won for a couple of years before he did, and pretty sure they haven't won since. Allow the bloke at least some credit for his single achievement! 😅

Owen Coyle, Aidy Boothroyd, Phil Brown, Brian McDermott all say Hi. All had 1 season wonders with unfancied clubs but slipped into mediocrity very soon afterwards.

The argument isn't 'that makes them brilliant', it's about giving fair and proportionate credit for a success.

Unfortunately I wouldn't trust Begbie Nixon to find his arse with both hands. Hope he is right for the first time since Owen Coyle was a thing though.

Nah he had us in for Collins before any other journalist.

So Jesse, what first attracted you to 1 goal in 25 games Hwang Hee-Chan?

I don't actually think they're remotely interested.

There are some rumors they want to go to South Korea for pre season in the Summer , if that's true they wont sell Hwang.

But I mean that's the ultimate false economy, isn't it.

Let's say he's on £40k a week (it's probably more, but we'll go with that). It's £2m a year. If we have to play him for exposure in actual Premier League games it hurts us because he's shit and nothing like up to the quality required, so it'll cost us prize money. We are not making that up with a couple of poxy friendlies.

None of that is new though
