Keeping established players as "back up" doesn't work in the real world.
Including Boly I think any team at our level struggles to have three, not one or two, better back ups to their first choice centre back pairing than those.Gomes and Mosquera are still pretty unproven imo, but at some point they have to play, or no point having them
Given what you've said about Boly and Toti [and what I think most probably agree with], I think there's too much risk in loaning out Yerson. That could leave us short.I think Toti is fine as the fourth choice tbh, I like what he has to offer. Just a question of whether Boly is fit and can do it in the back four to be the next option. Mosquera could probably do with a loan mind you.
He will wait until he knows he is 100% part of the 1st team and rightly soOrnstein says MGW's representatives are refusing to discuss a new deal.
Who does he think is gonna play ahead of him? Traore? He will wait until he knows he is 100% part of the 1st team and rightly so

In his view he's been treated badly for a couple of years. It's not surprising that he'd want to give it a month or so before signing a contract. If you contrast that with Cooper who had him at England U17 and Swansea you can see why he'd be on the fenceWho does he think is gonna play ahead of him? Traore?
I don't think this is really the case. It is 100% clear that MGW is going to be part of the first team, it's been shown in pre season, they would have told him that and there is not any real competition anyway. It's not like it's all up in the air and then after he's played 10 games at the start of October everything has changed as unless he gets injured it's nailed on.He will wait until he knows he is 100% part of the 1st team and rightly so

Which I would get but there is literally nobody else. Hwang and Campbell aren't going to usurp him.In fairness, he was one of our best players last preseason and then left out the first game. I completely understand if he does trust preseason based on that.

I'm hoping Bruno wouldn't be daft enough to play Donk over Pod or MGW if it came to that.If we play a front 3 he could find himself out of the team when we sign a striker. I wouldn't do that but that's plausible.
