Summer 2022 Transfer Window

At least it would kill that bullshit gameplan that hinged on him playing wingback.

What have you heard? The club posted a video of him scoring and the guy in the bushes watching the friendly yesterday didn't say anything about an injury.

His agent has posted on twitter or insta that he has a "serious injury" - rumour is ACL but there's no verification on that

If true it’s a real kick in the teeth if it’s more WUM people seriously have far to much time on their hands.
As per our luck the Neves rumour was total BS and this one will be genuine.

The post from his agent looks genuine, unfortunately

If true, I wish him all the best. He’s a great prospect and we need him

Regardless of the truth of various individual rumours, the writing is on the wall for us this season.

The atmosphere is already a combination of toxic depression, and few bad results at the start will see us tailspin back to the chump, possibly with a record low points total.

Can you just put that in your signature? It'll save you typing it out every time ;-)

Find it strange that none of the press who were at the game yesterday have mentioned the injury.

This makes me think the ACL stuff is people putting “bad injury” in a 2+2 and getting 5. Hopefully an injury they’ve assessed afterwards isn’t as bad as that.

Iptv in general, or just for football? Or in a like 'piracy funds terrorists' kind of aversion?

I can only speak for me, but I can't really go to games, my life doesn't allow for it. I can generally manage to make myself available to watch the games on a foreign stream though, and so that feeling pretty guilt free about.

Watching the streams doesn't cost the club any of my cash because I wasn't going anyway. The game or two that I am able and choose to attend, I do so despite knowing I've got a stream. So streaming in and of itself isn't a barrier. Tbh I don't think in a binary choice between 'going' and 'streaming', that the latter ever wins, because they're vastly different experiences. I think those that can't go will stream, but streaming won't prevent 'going' in any significant way. And if a few do decide to stream instead of go, we've got 10,000 people on the waiting list to ensure the club still gets its seats filled. I guess I am technically stealing from South African sports networks, but then I'm also watching the adverts and helping with brand exposure.

I'm not naive enough to think it's not a 'victimless crime', it's illegal and probably largely immoral. But actually I think it's less immoral than charging a parent and a kid the best part of a hundred quid to go and watch a game of football, which is what it cost me last time I took my kid.

As immoral as hiding the game away from millions of kids who's parents can't afford to pay extortionate fees for TV. Sky, BT and the PL go fuck themselves for all I care, wouldn't give them a penny.

I don't think there were any press there apart from the Wolves media team

Read that Alex Dickens report which made me assume he was there. Oh well, back to waiting for Wolves to let us know in about a week

Keeno also confirming an injury of unspecified seriousness.

Real shame for the lad

Whilst a struggle seems quite probable we would sail past the record low points even without further signings and it is almost inconceivable we won’t make at least a couple.

Real shame, and it highlights the need for a deeper squad, we as a club gave ourselves too much credit for how major injury free we stayed for such a prolonged period of time. Obviously we deserve credit for the prevention side of things, but I feel we overlooked how lucky we had been statistically during that spell.

I’d say it certain that we won’t make any signings other than maybe a few kids.

Don’t forget the wheels are off. They came off in the second arsenal defeat and I haven’t seen any attempt to put them back on.

A bad first couple of games or a couple of serious injuries will see us absolutely fall apart.
