Summer 2022 Transfer Window

How good is this link/source? Should we assume he’ll end up joining someone else instead?

It's great news, clearly. But don't let the cunts gaslight yous into thinking that it makes it a good window. We're still in need of three, first team players through the spine of the side, at least
Agreed. I didn’t want to be the guy to say it/ put a downer on it, but the fact that contract extensions are now celebrated/announced like record signings says it all for where we are at.

To be fair getting Neves signed up again should be celebrated by the club.

Yes it's only 1 part of what needs to be done this preseason but still, a huge moment for us really.

If it turns out that was it and we have another season of just Neves, Mout and Donck they can fuck off (with a slight thanks it wasnt just Donck on his own for midfield)

If this Neves contract signings is true I think they've got no choice but to cash in on Gibbs-White if they need a big sale to generate funds as can't think of any other players that would command a decent fee that would be in demand.

I think everyone is correct Neves signing is tremendous news and is to be celebrated. Even if it means we only have 1 season left with him, he's not walking for £20m next Summer as he would have done otherwise.

Still means we have a weaker squad than we ended last season though, so let's not get giddy

1. Who is this ramos?

2. Neves signing a new contract (I said they could happen) is great news - but as mentioned, If we don’t sign anyone we are weaker than last year and it’s been a shit window

3. Imagine the scenes if we go and sign 3 first teamers on top of this and it turns into a great window. Would hate to see Shi’s little grin in an interview

Seems this is becoming more likely. Thelwell pushing hard to sign him.

Thoughts and prayers with the Wolves Twitter admin if we just launch a shit away kit at 8am tomorrow
It's already going to be a cacophony of "announce Ramos".

I understand the reasoning behind cashing in on him but you have to be wary that so many clubs of a similar ilk to ourselves seem to be desperate to sign him up.

Wolves have had the inside track on him for over a decade, maybe they know something others don't?

If they can get £20m or more for him then I don't expect the club to ever regret that.

I think it ultimately comes down to him not wanting to be at Wolves, rather than people thinking he's not good enough. Nuno sent him off to Swansea as punishment for his Covid walkabout, brought him back and then parked him on the bench. Lage started the season with him also on the bench despite impressing in pre season and then in January appears to have given him a weakly delivered opportunity to come back.

There's also been SM issues with fans. He just wants to, but doesn't feel loved and that's why we'll lose him. Make of that what you will. He'll be a rich man whatever way, if I were him I'd sacrifice a few quid and go to Forest rather than Everton where the boom and bust will both be bigger

Thelwell has a better track on him than anyone though
