How good is this link/source? Should we assume he’ll end up joining someone else instead?
Agreed. I didn’t want to be the guy to say it/ put a downer on it, but the fact that contract extensions are now celebrated/announced like record signings says it all for where we are at.It's great news, clearly. But don't let the cunts gaslight yous into thinking that it makes it a good window. We're still in need of three, first team players through the spine of the side, at least
To be fair getting Neves signed up again should be celebrated by the club.Agreed. I didn’t want to be the guy to say it/ put a downer on it, but the fact that contract extensions are now celebrated/announced like record signings says it all for where we are at.
Seems this is becoming more likely. Thelwell pushing hard to sign him.If this Neves contract signings is true I think they've got no choice but to cash in on Gibbs-White if they need a big sale to generate funds as can't think of any other players that would command a decent fee that would be in demand.
It's already going to be a cacophony of "announce Ramos".Thoughts and prayers with the Wolves Twitter admin if we just launch a shit away kit at 8am tomorrow
What price are you hearing? If he wants out I can't see the £25m+ stories being credibleSeems this is becoming more likely. Thelwell pushing hard to sign him.
Around £20m + big add onsWhat price are you hearing? If he wants out I can't see the £25m+ stories being credible
Wolves have had the inside track on him for over a decade, maybe they know something others don't?I understand the reasoning behind cashing in on him but you have to be wary that so many clubs of a similar ilk to ourselves seem to be desperate to sign him up.
I think it ultimately comes down to him not wanting to be at Wolves, rather than people thinking he's not good enough. Nuno sent him off to Swansea as punishment for his Covid walkabout, brought him back and then parked him on the bench. Lage started the season with him also on the bench despite impressing in pre season and then in January appears to have given him a weakly delivered opportunity to come back.I understand the reasoning behind cashing in on him but you have to be wary that so many clubs of a similar ilk to ourselves seem to be desperate to sign him up.
Yes, we need to throw different ingredients into the mix to get a new cake.If selling him gets us a CB, CM, STR then I'm all for it.
Thelwell has a better track on him than anyone thoughWolves have had the inside track on him for over a decade, maybe they know something others don't?
If they can get £20m or more for him then I don't expect the club to ever regret that.
