We've got 2 weeks off for internationals so would miss 2-4 weeks getting up to fitness.

As long as its established to not be a long term issue then it'd be fine.

You don’t pass a medical. You take tests and those taking the medical make recommendations based on the results. Those are fed to the club and they make a decision.

Signing an injured player you won’t get him insured for the injury he is carrying. It’s a fucking stupid thing to do.

We signed Stephen Hunt when he was injured. Went brilliantly, obviously.

Not against Sanches based on his last couple of years, he was horrible at Bayern/Swansea but that's a while back now.

A medical isn’t running round Compton. Basically they do MRI scans and other in depth medical investigations to check there’s not something blatantly wrong with you which could be a problem. You then weigh up the financial input to the risk.

We signed an ageing Stephen Hunt with a ruptured Achilles FFS. That’s a pretty severe injury!
