Summer 2021 transfer window

I've consistently been hopeful of 2 in. Your confidence of 3 in is very positive!

I’m happy enough (sort of) for him to go if the likes of Botman are the potential ins.

I just don’t see where he fits in that Spurs team with Kane staying. He’ll be an impact substitute at best.

I guess if true it would mean he doesn't really rate Bergwijn/Moura. Probably wants to give Gil time before throwing him in anyway

3 in with Traore going is a poor window. Unless all 3 of them are big money.

Poor probably wrong word, Average probably better

Would imagine a CB, CM and forward to replace Adama?

I'm really surprised Nuno is so keen to take him there.

Nothing, that’s why I said ‘just for money’ I’m sure the money he is earning at Wolves has him down the food bank every week. My point, was that if his priority is £, rather than enjoying his football playing for a manager that will allow him to play more freely, rather than one that he knows 100% plays negative football, he has his priorities wrong.
Wish footballers were like that but I think most of us, if we're really honest would find it hard to turn down an extra 50k a week in our pay packet. It's a longtime in retirement for footballers, appreciate they are made for life on paper early on, but everything is relative isn't it.

As you say, depends on the players, if it's 3 upgrades on what we already have in Winger, CM and CD positions I'd say I'd say pretty good.

You’re right. Just don’t have the faith that will happen.

How are you feeling about Lage now, DW?

You were really harsh about him before a ball had been kicked. Three games in, very early days and still a working progress, but just wondering where you’re at on him now? Same opinion or softened, slightly?
I like the way we play, but we do need points to show for it at some stage.

I like the way he speaks, now we finally do get to hear from him.

I still don't think that by rights he'd have been anywhere near our job if we weren't what we are, but hey, we are.

I'm cautiously optimistic. Or at least more optimistic than I was 3-4 weeks ago.

Like I said this morning, I think Traore will go. He’s had his head turned and we’ll work out a deal with Spurs one way or another. Luckily I’m very rarely right about anything so 🤞🏻

Would be extremely disappointed to see Adama go. Bruno has made it abundantly clear he’s one of the first names on the teamsheet here, and Adama himself has actually started to move off the ball and be the threat we all knew he could be.

I’ve a lot of respect for GFFH & his info, but I’d still be very surprised if we let him go, tbh. It just doesn’t make sense.

I can see Mendes and potentially Traore pushing for it - Mendes because it means Guedes can come here - I can’t see Levy paying what we want. We already stung them on Doherty.

Suppose it’s possible that the bid is too high for us to turn down?

The only way it’s happening if the Money is paid pretty much in full now. Why is Mendes being involved he’s not even Traore agent.

He is like Quimby from the Simpsons

"Did I hear the sound of a briefcase opening?"
