Spurs (H) 25/4: Build-up & Match Thread

I could be tempted with Luis Figo over Salah even though it was only a friendly.

Paul McGrath is a non-negotiable. No knees, out of his tree, 37 years old, playing against Bully, Goodman and Keane all at the same time, and still by an absolute mile the best player on the park. A legend.

An all-time great XI I saw against us:

-----------------------Peter Shilton-----------------------

Gary Neville-----Marcel Desailly---Paul McGrath----Ashley Cole

-------------David Silva----Luka Modric--Kevin De Bruyne---

------------Mo Salah-------Alan Shearer--------Thierry Henry
I like that Ronaldo didn't make the cut.

I tried this. Don’t think quite as good but I went a bit with players who have so stood out on the day as top level

Alisson - one you don’t realise how good he is on the ball until you see him live

wan Bisska - more so for Palace than United..
Van Dijk - quicker than you realise (at his peak) just strolled alongside Adama and took the ball off him
Terry - see Alisson (both footed)
Cole - no explanation needed

Fabregas - saw his 1st ever goal in that league cup game where their youth team hammered our first team. But also 2011 and he was majestic
Coutinho - second half in FA Cup game
Pogba - maybe controversial but I thought he was a magnificent player to watch in the flesh

Salah - no explanation needed
Drogba - see above
Van Persie - See above but just shoehorning him in on the left

The other one who I couldn’t bring myself to include but was amazing on the day was Wilshere when he was 18/19. Absolutely ran the game alongside Fabregas.

Not a particularly balanced team!

Spurs haven't won a Premier League game since December 28th...
Yet today are odds on favourites away from home against a team who have beaten 2 and drew with 1 of the top 5 in their 3 home league fixtures. 🤷‍♂️

We obviously need to take the initiative in this one (spoilers we won't) as this is our best chance to win another game before the end of the season.

I don't understand the lineup.... Doc, Amstrong...

By don't put Olangunju, or test Dani Angel, or Holman?

Need watch another options to championship.

Manu is a example.

I think Swindon would be pissed if we played one of their players
