Aside from the Kamaldeen whiff, they've created absolutely nothing of genuine threat.

We do need someone in midfield to figure out the game is happening, given how poor JG and André have been to this point, we've done quite well defensively to mitigate that.

We’re playing a side who are on course for the worst premier league points total of all time. I expect us to be able to string 4-5 passes together & perhaps have more than one shot on target (edit; two - I forgot about RAN putting one straight at Ramsdale towards the end of the half) in 45 minutes of football. I’m not expecting us to pull up trees.

Anyway. Good scoreline - nice goal. Half time picture looks better as Ipswich are being slapped - but can’t hide from the shite performance.

I’d get Rodrigo on at half time. We put a cross in and JSL scores, yet you’ve got your best crosser of a ball and most direct player on the bench.

Well that's up there as one of the worst halves of football I've seen in some time. Happy that we are winning, of course, but we've been appalling. Against any sort of half decent team we'd be losing. We can't keep the ball when we have it, we can't get it back when we don't. We're just happy to wait for them to make a mistake, which they've graciously done plenty of times. And we look so sluggish. I've been feeling jet-lagged since coming back from Japan but I've had more energy than we've shown. Awful performance but we're winning, so yay.
