That is exactly where MGW played for Swansea, and Vitinha has come on as a sub there too (or it may have been a start in the cup previously, I can't remember).
It isn't

I really hope we win now...
We all hope we win.

Just seen Southampton have gone almost full strength, obviously keen to get minutes in to some of their returning players before the weekend. I’m not holding out much hope for a win, unfortunately.

It look like a team to draw 0 0 and go for penalties. It’s awful. I really hope the forward line take the huge chance they have been given and really show what they can do.

if not then this thread is going to go down quicker than Monica Lewinsky

Apologies, didn't mean to sound like people wanted us to lose on purpose or anything - I just think writing us off before we have kicked a ball is a bit daft.

In all seriousness, I agree with Del that Nuno doesn't think that. He's just using this as an opportunity to give Coady, Semedo, Neto, Traore a breather. Which is a shame as I said when I saw the line up. I have been worried about Neto for a while so I'm happy for him to be on the bench tbh but it's hard to see us creating much with that attack - good opportunity for them if we can retain possession for long enough though

They’ve gone almost full strength and we haven’t. I think it’s understandable people are a bit miffed. Not sure there’s anyone “writing us off”, just perhaps saying we’re not favourites.

That's not quite a first XI, oh well

I think Saints have gone as strong as they could

It's a horrible team. If you're playing MGW play him as a 10. Why drop Jose?
Because he's just played 3 games in a week in his first couple of weeks in England. I'm not saying I agree with it but it hasn't surprised me.

This is all well and good but if you go out tonight with a weaker side it’ll look very stupid if we then lose again Sunday.

That looks like a team picked out of a lucky dip barrel. My usual pre-game anticipation has been replaced by a morbid curiosity as to just how bad this is going to be.

I'd have said more like they pulled apples out of a barrel with their teeth to pick that team! Of all the positions Vitinha could play for us, over on the left wing wouldn't be one of them. Hopefully Fabio sticks the one finger up to us all and scores a hat trick.. :ROFLMAO:
Arse...

I think Vit and MGW will be more like 10s in behind Silva with Jonny and Hoever providing the width
