Team news: "Johnstone is fine. He's trained all week. Hwang trained today and looked sharp. He's back fit and we'll pick the right time for him to be involved."

On Saints: "It feels like an important game, but they all do. An awful lot will be made of it but I treat them all as huge games. I'm looking forward to it. The boys have had an excellent week of training."

"I have full responsibility and we are where we are. The next game is the one we can effect and our preparation has gone very well. The boys are looking forward to the challenge."

On Molineux atmosphere / fan frustration: "It doesn't affect me, I understand the job. With where we are I expect some negative noise. The players need the fans and they are giving everything. They are a group that keeps going and the fans play a big part."

On Sarabia: "He's very robust and confident. He backs himself and he did have an impact on the game. He took up fantastic positions and helped us with the ball, but we would expect him to score those chances."

"There will be moments tomorrow when we need to be patient enough without the ball and then be lethal with a solid base."

"We're still pushing and fully together. My job and my future is the least of my worries, the next 3 points for Wolves is all that matters."

Fan frustration: "That reaction was only for a small amount of time and the rest of it we had their full backing. I expect the fans to be fully behind the team tomorrow. The fans are passionate about their team in ups and downs."

"It's difficult to win games if you concede 2 every week. We have looked more solid since Brentford and we work hard on it. I'm aware of the areas we're not coping too well with."
Cheers DW. Loads of shite from Gaz as per then.

Have we looked more solid, really?

City had an enormous amount of touches in our box, Brighton were 2-0 up after 87 minutes and Palace could have had six quite easily last week?
Didn't concede 5 = more solid.

Baby steps and all that.

Conceded 2 a game as opposed to the 3 on average from the other 7. I guess you make make anything from statistics

2 games unbeaten IS progress.

Incredibly minimal progress, but it is, especially from his point of view.

Can't wait to see our three centre halves standing around doing nothing while Russell "If he was chocolate, he'd eat himself" Martin's stooges tap the ball around between themselves in their own half.

It seems ridiculous to say there's a must win in early November, but I think this is. If we don't he will be gone and I think we'll be too far gone to be rescuable. If he wins he stays and isn't going to keep us up. Tonight Matthew I'm going to be Meryl Streep
I am not sure we are too far gone to be rescuable just yet. We have a number of quality players and a decent coach ought to be able to turn things around fairly quickly. My concern is that with each passing week the task to rescue us becomes ever more difficult and procrastination and giving O’Neill more time seems to be the order of the day with the club’s “management”.

Someone else will have to start the verdict thread later as I'm at the game and won't get any signal until I'm out of the ground (hopefully celebrating a comfortable win) Wanky O2 coverage.

Got a spare ticket in BW. Good news it’s going for £30. Bad news it’s next to me.

3-0 Wolves today. GON retains job. Relegated by Easter.
