On a matchday definitely. We were there for (I think) the sponsors lunch and Kenny and I walked out there and I had a Singha in my hand. They were firm but fair, shall we say.

Someone took a bottle of Carling up in the Steve Bull against Burnley.

Take pictures of the gathering and within Molineux! Happy game

Seems like it's been ages since our last home game at 3 on a Saturday.

It has been ages! 28th April (if we don't count Villarreal).

The one before that was 17th March so we've had two in six months.

That's shocking. Nothing like a game on a sunny Saturday afternoon, seems like we've missed it completely.

I was amused by the Guardian's write-up of the match...

Improving with every performance, Wolves are proving a breath of fresh air in a Premier League in which no team more than Southampton increasingly resemble an acrid, eggy fart by comparison. Showing little or no indication so far that they’re either good or bad enough to do anything even remotely interesting this season, they look content to just hang around in the Premier League, as is their inalienable right if they can accumulate the requisite number of points. However, away at Molineux against a team of entertainers fast turning into media darlings, they have a chance to make a statement and turn some heads by putting the Premier League newcomers back in their box with an unexpected slap-down. Instead, expect them to troop off the pitch reasonably satisfied with a 2-0 or 3-1 defeat, after which Mark Hughes will use his post-match interview to grumble about some perceived refereeing injustice that only happened in his head. Surprise us, Southampton. The gauntlet is down. BG

They look really slow at the back, whoever they put out. Our front three should be causing the likes of Hoedt/Vestergaard/Stephens/Yoshida a lot of problems.

Ings has been playing well, obviously missed out last week as he's on loan from Liverpool.

I suggested Ings as Afobe's replacement in the Summer, but the general view here was he's a crock don't touch

I did too and told he was finished and not good enough. He looks plenty good enough to me.

Would have been a hell of a risk. Saints are tied into a £20m permanent deal next year and he's on about £60k a week. He'd played 14 league games in three years for Liverpool.

Would've been a risk worth taking IMO he's a different level to Leo.

I like him as a player, always have done. I just don't think you can take that kind of gamble on someone with that history.

If he signs a three year deal next summer after his one year loan then the total commitment on him is over £32m.

Joselu was available for the same price as Leo and is a better player. He's scored as many as Jimenez with less games and would have fit our system fine. Plus he'd give us an aerial threat from crosses if needed too.

Oh mate :icon_lol:

Joselu is atrocious. I'll grant you that Leo doesn't look like making much of an impact, but I wouldn't want your man here if Newcastle were paying us. So bad.

That's just your opinion. Which is often wrong nowadays.
