Sorry to hear that, mate. Hope you recover quickly. Ligament damage isn't much fun at all.

As for the ticket, I would love to take it off your hands as Southampton is only an hour from me, but I'm not sure my Mrs would allow two away trips on the spin with a two week old baby boy at home! :icon_lol:

As for the game itself, I would be looking to make multiple changes to freshen things up.

Taking Donk out of the XI would be a massive mistake IMO. He's key to the way we play and will want to recover from Sunday as quickly as possible - dropping him isn't the way to do that. The only change I'd look to make is Patricio in for Ruddy. We don't need to rest players, it'll have been 6 days with some time in the sun to come right afterwards.

I'd agree if he was the only player dropped, but I would personally totally freshen things up and make a few changes.

Equally, I would be more than happy to see the same team (with Rui) start.

I think if we play Traore for Doc at Southampton, then we will be destroyed down that side. That was the area of the pitch that they took Liverpool apart in the 1st half and should have been 2 or 3 up. That was up against TAA, so put Adama there and it will be (to use Paddy's word of the year) carnage

Yeah, Southampton are much better than their league position suggests. They're in this mess principally because they were daft enough to keep Hughes on after the end of last season, despite him winning a whole two of his nine league games in charge.
