If Podence is injured then I'd rather do that than start Adama. Clearly Neto can't start but great to have him back in the squad.

I think so, if he wanted to go 433 he would play RAN on the left of the front three

Tbf it seemed like he wasn’t really positioned wide, just shifted out there a ton given the obvious threat of Salah and TAA.

That Southampton team on paper is absolutely RANK. We should be playing them off the pitch with some of the technical, comfortable players we’ve got - but it’ll be interesting to see how we shape up.

I hope Gomes & Neto get a few minutes off the bench. Preferably coming on with us comfortably ahead - but this is a genuine “must win” for Southampton today so expecting a tough match.

West Ham draw with Chelsea so go above us on GD.
