It would be less annoying if you said ‘yes, he is playing’ rather than ‘I know whether he is playing’. If you have info then just say it.

It's the great thing about "ITKs". They have to leave out information to protect their sources, but the same sources are happy to throw confidential stuff at random people, and in turn they're happy for them to blab away on public forums, but only to a certain level.

I'm fortunate enough to get info sometimes (sometimes about Wolves, more often about other clubs) because of what I do, who I've worked with and who I loosely know. It's a pretty clear dividing line, you either can say (I'm sure a few have made a few quid when I've said Manager X will definitely be appointed at Club Y) or you can't. Not a shitty halfway house.
