You think it's ok to be calling people pieces of shit?

If they are acting like idiots then possibly. He also did use asterisks.

If you can't see that the way you are posting lately is intimidating, antagonistic, and frankly unpleasant I don't know what to say. I'm happy to discuss it in person before the Liverpool game.

Saves a PM, eh?

Absolutely happy to discuss it with you in person.

This. Good for you Paddy. Johnny, you are frequently aggressive and downright rude to other posters and as soon as someone calls you out on it you cry. You're annoying to everyone on here and frankly you should be gone. It would make the forum a better place all round.

You're a piece of whining ****.

Right.

Can I ask that this stops now please.

Johnny - as I said we can discuss face to face if you have an issue with the way I am dealing with this, I am not precious.

Dire Wolf - I have tried to moderate this in a way that hopefully diffuses the issue. Can I please ask that you don't respond further to it, as I want it to go away rather than escalate.

Thank you for your understanding, both of you.

No.problem from me. As long as he doesn't keep getting away with being rude and aggressive.

I know in the past I've been called a drama queen and all sorts, and fair play maybe it was called for, but bloody hell whats happened to this forum, from grown men aswell. This used to be a place to come to for matchday threads if you can't be actually there.... But not any more.

Had another look at Long's goal and there was no way Donk was getting to that but I wouldn't argue with his or Coady's positioning. It was just one of those crosses that was centimetre perfect, where everything fell into place for them. It was Coady's ball and he nearly got it. Just one of them all teams (even the good teams) concede every now and then.

The problem Dendoncker had on the 2nd goal is that he didn't anticipate the cross or the run from Long, by the time the ball is played in he's already too late and has no chance of getting to the ball ahead of Long. He should have been more attentive and responded to Long's run sooner, making it more difficult for the striker to get into that gap for a free header.

Think Doherty is more unfortunate on the 1st goal, he's goal side of Bednarek and following the flight of the ball in but when it takes a nick on the way through it wrong foots him and puts the ball into Bednarek's path rather than his, perhaps could've been a little quicker to react but the way he just floated the shot back across goal I don't think there's any way Doherty gets close enough to make a block.

Agreed, Donk let his man get goal side, which is why he ended up stretching a leg out to try and stop it instead of challenging the striker for the header.

Coady did his job properly right in front of him, for comparison.

+1

Of course Kenny.

I was at the game yesterday and actually ended up stood next to a Pompey fan, right next to the barrier in the corner. When we scored the 3rd goal he whipped out his cock and started windmilling at the Saints fans.

Hope that's raised the tone for you.

Just to confirm, this wasn’t me.

This - Donk switched off and lost his man, completely his fault.

Are you being deliberately thick? Yet again you take everything to the extreme - nobody is talking about everyone having the same opinion. Please stop your chronic exaggeration.

Ok, no more exaggerations. Quarks are the smallest known particles in the universe, each being one trillionth the volume of a single atom. There is only a single particle that is theorized to be smaller than a quark, although its so microscopic that humanity will never be able to definately prove its existence. Your cock.

The maturity of debate on here is probably my favourite part of the forum.

FFS grow up

this fuckin thread. :icon_lol:

The mods need to get a grip of this forum and quickly. I run a couple of groups on FB and a post like Monstrum's above - or anyone calling someone a **** - would just be a straight ban. No appeal, no discussing it over a drink, just goodbye. Like I suspect many people I used to enjoy logging on to the forum first thing in the morning to catch up on news and opinion, but I can live without the current level of debate and the never-ending insults

It’s like having Waggy and Manhattan back.

Seconded ! ! !

My posts and viewings of the threads on this forum have diminished quite a bit in the last couple of months due to the outright hostility and insults that are ever increasing - not to myself I should add but it's rather deflating to read the consistently aggressive posts that are regretably more common than what most of us would like.

Yes, robust debate and opinions are to be encouraged/welcomed but if we're not careful this forum will degenerate into another MolMix, which I left many years ago due to its' toxic nature.

We all have a common love for our football club - please lets' keep it civil and friendly.

We are in the midst of the best team our club has had since the Cullis days (another era another time) - enjoy it.
