It was too much too ask wasn't it?
I will raise you Martin KeownHer pre-match analysis was abysmal. Even proving her own point wrong.
Only Jenas is worse.
You put it far more succinctly than I do but that’s exactly where I am. I really hope he does well in the next 6 games and grabs a couple of goals. His strength and link up play looks ok. He doesn’t take up the best position for crosses but that can be worked on and he does his share of chasing and pressing. He also cost nothing so far.Jose is in a difficult situation (of his own making it must be said).
He agreed to leave a very congenial Spanish city to come to the English Midlands in winter, leaving his family behind, with whom he can now have no physical contact.
Different country, culture, team mates, and language, and he’s expected to score goals in virtually empty stadiums lacking any real atmosphere, in the toughest league in the football world.
I wouldn’t be surprised if he didn’t wake up some mornings, look out the window and wonder if he hasn’t made a mistake.
As opposed to that of course he is a professional athlete, doing a job most of us would be happy to do, and he is well paid for it too.
No one forced him to come here.
However I think it will take him time to settle. Wish he’d get a goal. It would make a big difference I think, but the service he’s had in the 6 games he’s played in has been largely poor.
Just saying
I'm the other way on her. I find her bland with very little insight.I like Alex Scott. Insightful and concise.
Decent post and sums his situation up imo.Jose is in a difficult situation (of his own making it must be said).

I don't know where the found the energy from after all that effort in the first half Much improved second half and slowly getting back to what we know he can do (I assume the acclaim goes to Nuno for Adamas improvement)Much better from Traore in playing sharper and quickly too for the most part 2nd half. Pleased with that win despite whatever that 1st half was.
and a dog shit managerWell I think Karen Carney is a dog shit* pundit and I think Glenn Hoddle is a dog shit pundit.
And extremely attractive too, and to balance things out Jamie Redknapp is tooI like Alex Scott. Insightful and concise.
Amazing what a win does ! Especially when the two halves were so different. If you merged this thread and the match day you would get a right mix!Bit quiet on here isn't it...
No we are not. No where near. We had played a shit load of EL games and had performed really well in them as we after a poor league start. We're just a couple of Fabio Silva finishes away from where we were last season.
We're 4 points worse off than the same stage last season.
