Some stats

That form is so bad, surely he has to go before it's too late. Conceding 21 goals in 12 games and we have lost half of them.

I continue to say he won't go until the board think going down is likely. We are still 7 points off, but lose the next three and that will be about 3. I think he'll go early on Jan 2nd

For reference we were six clear when we sacked Solbakken.

His final 12 games:

P12 W3 D1 L8 F13 A22 Pts 10

Identical points gained and goals scored, with just one more conceded.

Solbakken was sacked to save our play off bid not to stave off relegation though......yes, I know this is comical but was genuinely the motivation behind the sacking

For completion's sake, final 12 games of all Wolves managers since Turner (league only):

Graham Turner: P12 W5 D3 L4 F12 A10 Pts 18 (13th after 33 games)
Graham Taylor: P12 W3 D4 L5 F12 A15 Pts 13 (18th after 16 games)
Mark McGhee: P12 W2 D4 L6 F12 A16 Pts 10 (11th after 16 games)
Colin Lee: P12 W3 D3 L6 F11 A16 Pts 12 (16th after 23 games)
Dave Jones: P12 W4 D3 L5 F15 A15 Pts 15 (19th after 15 games)
Glenn Hoddle: P12 W4 D5 L3 F13 A14 Pts 17 (finished 7th)
Mick McCarthy: P12 W2 D4 L6 F15 A26 Pts 10 (18th in PL after 25 games)
Stale Solbakken: P12 W3 D1 L8 F13 A22 Pts 10 (18th after 26 games)
Dean Saunders: P12 W5 D1 L6 F16 A20 Pts 16 (finished 23rd)

Over the last six games:

22nd in the overall form table and worst home form in the division.

One win all season against a team currently in the top half.

Jordan Graham now has the joint most assists in our squad (4, with Henry) despite only making his debut a month ago.

18th, it says up there.

This thread really makes for some depressing reading, and clarifies the requirement for change - its hard to see where we can go with the current situation. I feel that Morgan has all but washed his hands of any involvement in the running of the club.

Whilst I agree this shouldn't have any effect on the management of the club or players it appears that no one is now willing to pull the trigger or there is little appetite to perhaps negotiate the minefield of bringing in a replacement. We can only hope that there is a swift change in the ownership situation or that there is a realisation that a club in league 1 is probably going to be a harder sell than a club in the championship and that forces the club in to action.

From what I've seen it certainly isn't the signing of a Polish winger thats required

Home wins in the Championship:

2012/13 - 7
2005/6 - 9
2004/5 - 9
2002/3 - 9
2000/1 - 7
1996/7 - 10
1995/6 - 8
1993/4 - 10

Reckon we'll beat any of them? We've won four so far, eight to play.

Thats shitty stats

Today's fact of the day - Nathan Byrne still has more starts for Swindon this season than for Wolves.

Mentioned on the radio yesterday that we've conceded 2 or more goals in 50% of our home games this season.

Appears close to the mark based on a quick scan of our fixtures. Added to that we've conceded 4 twice on the road, that's an abomination.

Given that this is how poor defensively we are given the fact we're playing ultra-conservatively, with regular line ups featuring excessive defensive minded players, then this suggests to me that tactically KJ can't see the wood for the trees.
The evidence shows that despite filling the team with a vast array of defenders, we're still conceding. KJ's response to that, is put even more defensive minded players in.
Essentialy, we've spent half a season inviting teams onto us, rather than attacking. None of it has worked.

Exactly, pressing high is not equal to conceding goals at all

Number of teams promoted with a direct ball style in the last 5 years - 10
Number of teams promoted with a passing/ possession style - 5
Number of teams promoted with a counter attacking style - 0

Middlesbrough will probably add to the last category if they go up.

25 points from 22 games since mid-October.
