Some stats

13/14 - 10 goals, 9 assists in 32 appearances
14/15 - 5 goals, 3 assists in 37 appearances
15/16 - 4 goals, 3 assists in 19 appearances

Starting to get really frustrating now. So many times we've been bitten on the arse for being too lenient with managers. The stats in this thread are damning. The football is crap and the results are crap. All the decent managers that we might get will be gone and by the time we sack him we'll be left with a shortlist of Tim Sherwood, John Carver and Kevin Ashley.

If van La Parra had put in the type of performances that Henry has consistently for the last 2/3 months some fans would be spitting feathers.

I like James Henry but even when he's at his best he can be wildly inconsistent. He was far better last year for having Rajiv challenging him, IMO he needs dropping for a few weeks as a bit of a kick up the arse as his performances recently just haven't been good enough. If I see him cannon another shot into the nearest defender's legs from 25+ yards I might explode.

Disagree re Henry folks. Feel he's been doing well this season, not as good recently admittedly.

I appreciate other people have their opinion, but I really did not think that Wolves played too bad last night. Not great, but I thought we did enough to have won the game.

It's another home game against middling to poor opposition where we've created very little and critically, not won. You wouldn't mark it down as a disaster of a performance in isolation but it's part of a wider issue with our style and output. Two wins at home all season. That's bottom of the league stuff.

We had four or five good chances to score goals, and other decent opportunities. Mainly because Forest were rubbish, but I didn't think we were poor at all.

Wolves after 20 matches last season - 27 points. After 20 matches this season - 25 points. #wwfc

.

I'm surprised that the E&S haven't run with a Van La Parra story to keep knocking a nail into Jacketts skull.

But we missed out last year....

I'm not all that upset about the amount of points we have anyway. It's the performances, team selections and lack of any sort of tactical plan or identity that I'm frustrated about.

Yeah, you could make a flimsy case for us not doing *that* badly - one defeat in seven, not absolutely miles adrift of those in playoff contention, not much worse off than last season. It doesn't stand up to any scrutiny though, not if you actually watch our games. Especially as there is virtually zero chance of us picking up 51 points from our remaining 26 games as we did last year.

Plus at this stage last season (20 games) we were coming directly off our run of five straight defeats. So to be doing WORSE than that - probably the worst comparison point you could pick from 2014/15 - is nothing to be crowing about.

Well done Ken, worst pre-Christmas home record since the days we were tumbling down the divisions with a two sided ground.

ooh fuck..but this must be the end of the line. Im sure Kenny will be "sacked in the morning" now..he just doesnt have a clue anymore, and i raelly liked the guy

By my count we have six points fewer than the same weekend during the relegation season.

Form since the October international break:

P12 W2 D4 L6 F13 A21 Pts 10

Well under a point a game, only just over a goal a game and a rate of conceding that extrapolated over a season would see us letting in 80 goals (11 more than we conceded in 2012/13 when we got relegated). Basically, abject failure on every conceivable level, over more than a quarter of a season's worth of games.
