"Trump complains that the USA has been "looted, pillaged, raped and plundered by nations near and far, both friend and foe alike" to justify his tariff hikes.
One of the highest tariffs of 49% have been slapped on Vietnam, a country the US looted, pillaged, raped and plundered. The effects of Agent Orange still impact on the country with babies born in as recent as the 2010s with horrendous disabilities.
The US government has not paid a cent in compensation to Vietnamese victims of Agent Orange or for the damage caused to vast swathes of the country…but then again Vietnam has never thanked the USA…"
