Turns out I forgot to vote. Ask Wolves a timely reminder.

This is how I feel, I would add that I think he's surrounding himself with sycophants who aren't good enough.

In itself that leads me to feel he's probably not good enough, but I'm just not sure.
I've changed my opinion. I don't think he is running the club well, or has a positive vision for WWFC.

Surrounded himself with a substandard exec team and showing a lack of care for match day fans in favour of someone who is invested in esports.

It’s now abundantly clear the Jeff Shi is an accountant playing at diversification into e-sports and music labels.

He hasn’t got the first clue about football, it’s heritage and what matters to the customers and he removes anyone that challenges him.

He is a dreadful CEO and he should go immediately.

I’m not overly keen on Jeff tbh, but as a CEO he’s doing the job requested by his companies higher ups,
Premier league status retained, yes.
On or within budget, yes.
Making profits on player sales, yes.
Raising brand awareness through other avenues, yes.
Telling the manager to play the Korean, so we get more YouTube views, yes.
Who’d have thought an investment company would be happy making money while spending as little as possible?

You would think the higher ups would notice the million red flashing lights though.

Even those with the most rudimentary of football knowledge must have seen the Brighton result, thought "hmmm, let's see how we actually played", watched it back and thought something was very, very wrong?

You can't blag the Premier League, we have blaggers in pretty much every senior role at the moment. We have a CEO/Chairman who knew nothing about football six years ago. A career purchaser doing ticketing. Head of Commercial who has no track record or understanding of why different demographics follow a team and how they express that. An Academy coach as Director of Football. A Head Coach who has virtually no experience or credibility, and currently has us on one of the worst runs of form we've ever had as a Premier League team (including the years where we got relegated).

Didn't he say in his interview today something along the lines of Fosun don't ask about the football just the business in his monthly meetings? I think you overestimate the interest they have on the football side whilst on the surface it looks positive

Doesn't even look positive on the surface though, does it.

Nearly half a season of absolutely dire results, even if your attention extends to checking the score at full time.

If we start next season with a record of W3 D2 L9, I guarantee you they'll sack the manager.

Only 2 points from safety at that point this season, don't think that's guaranteed sacking personally.

It is, Jeff'll shit himself if relegation is a real possibility. It also is more or less the World Cup break where a lot of managers in the PL and Championship will be bulleted

Nah, it would be. He's got nothing in the bank as it stands.

You'd be doubling it up so it's W6 D4 L18. Unsustainable.

It’s bizarre that the guy is running a football club yet pretty much admits that success on the pitch is not his main priority.
Yeah, I have no problem with him going off and doing eSports / diversification of the brand - absolutely his prerogative, but not to the detriment of the club

To that end, I'd love to see what the numbers look like across the group to see what the return on eSports etc looks like

They'd just give you nebulous numbers that mean nothing.

Like I don't doubt we have millions more followers from Mexico and South Korea now compared to what we had in 2017. However if we measured the income from them like they do with TV ratings where if it's below a certain number/percentage it counts as zero, it'd be zero. Despite this they seem amazingly proud of it, but surely they must know that as soon as Raul leaves (whenever that is) then we lose all those "fans" immediately? Unless we immediately sign whoever Mexico's next best player is?

They really do need an experienced hand in there somewhere. Just to tell them no if nothing else. At the minute we're like a shopping trolley that's been pushed down a massive hill.

Think it would depend what happens through the summer. If there's decent investment but that's the results it brings then I'd agree he definitely goes. If there's minimal investment then they maybe point the finger at themselves a bit too and perhaps give him more time whilst spending a bit in January.

It's amazing how ruthless they were when booting Nuno, Lambert and to a lesser extent Jacket.

I'm really surprised that Lage hasn't got the bullet, i thought it would have happened by now.
