We really need to sort out the problems at the back as without that it really doesn't matter who we play further forward if we don't.

Bannan ball over the top confuses Batth - Ikeme manages to save 2 attempts with the third from Wallace going over the bar.

Edwards is not the answer to this - almost inclined to bring Coady on & play him at CH - did OK for the period he needed to when Hause got injured & cannot be any worse than Batth/EEL partnership has been in the first half.

Unless we get some sort of control at the back it won't matter what we do further forward

If the manager signs duds and/or doesn't play the players he signs and/or simply can't coach them then January isn't going to help. Look at Middlesbrough's back six yesterday. Bottom line is currently our defence is a liability, and our midfield (even 5) have very few defensive qualities. Need to screw up the manual and start again from scratch.

Not making the sale of Stearman look so clever now is it. As bad as Jackett is the pairing of EEL and Batth is clearly abysmal and that's all he's got. Terrible, just terrible recruitment.
