Sheff Wed v Wolves: Matchday Thread

Henry at 10 has been tried before with fairly limited success iirc, so why not give Wallace a go? Makes little sense, though I am pleased he has dropped Edwards at last.

Can only assume that with Byrne coming in KJ didn't want to go with 3 fairly untried players (Byrne - Wallace - Graham) at the same time - Henry has got greater game time experience at this level, though agree that on the odd time he's played there its not been an unqualified success.

Golbourne has improved recently but has had an awful season and was just as shocking as the rest of the back 4 vs Leeds. Not surprised he's been dropped and I honestly expect us to sign a LB in Jan and run Golbourne's contract down. Plus he looks a right scruffy bugger in that underarmour!

Doherty is shite mind you.

Happy to see Henry moved to the centre, he doesn't have the pace to play RW and his delivery has been shite lately.

Really odd to hear 'Hi Ho' played at the start of the game away from home!

We kick off

Early chance for Afobe from a Price forward pass - ball not really under control though and he is crowded out

Radio WM don't half get excited when we get anywhere near goal.

Come on Kenny. Let's show these doom merchants and managerial experts, what Wolverhampton Wanderers are made of.

Pressure from Afobe & Henry allows the ball to fall to Graham - needed a first time shot as Louvens manages to get across & block

Henry dispossess Wallace & tries to chip it over the keeper from distance but puts it just over

Penalty to Wolves after Doherty bursts into the box following good play from Afobe/Graham & Byrne.

Afobe sends the keeper the wrong way & into double figures for the season.

1-1, Foresteri scores, wasn't even a booking in the end. Commentators seem shocked that it wasn't at least a yellow, although sounds like there were two defenders around one attacker.
