Doyle's got vague "JWP if he could run a bit" vibes for me. So far I read him as a Neves-esque deep playmaker.

He always looks a bit small to me but then so does Messi.

Yeah Doyle’s a tidy footballer. Good set piece delivery by the look of things too. Probably needs to do a bit more out of possession and cover more ground but seems like a good squad option to me. Bringing him (or it could have been Gomes tbf) on for Traore was the right call as Boubacar’s positioning was causing us quite a lot of problems I felt

He makes me nervous as hell but mostly he gets away with it. Still feels like he's a split-second behind most things. As Dan says, though, he's basically still a kid (both in age and top level experience).

Thought it was the right call to start Bouba, he did ok, passing was a bit hit and miss. Right call to bring Doyle on for him at the right time imo.

I think it was DW who said every tackle he makes looks like it could be a yellow. He's very ungainly, almost like he's a teenager who's not worked out how to control his body.

Officially got 32 on the quiz, but giving myself 35 as there were 3 I tried that I obviously spelt wrong.

Going to share that with my mates at work tomorrow, who are Blades fans that went to the playoff final!

Bellegarde definitely goes straight back in the team in place of Neto for me.

Aside from the fact he's never played there why would you do that?

Why not play Sasa up front and Cunha on the right/left where he had played before?

I think it's either bellegarde or Cunha playing in the Neto role. Or RAN with Toti at LB with a back 4.

Because he has played as an inside forward/wide player before for Strasbourg.

He won the most penalties in Ligue 1 last season, loves dribbling down the channels into the box and is a decent crosser (apparently).

His heat maps at Strasbourg say he loves getting down the right channel. Not "toes on the chalk" but in a pinch it could be done.

There's pictures on that link above showing him running with the ball near the line.
