Season Ticket Discussion 2024/25

Will you renew?

Me too, looking at Twitter though it seems many caved at the end. I'm sad about it, but never came close to changing my mind.
I think it'll be the biggest drop they've ever had, but not enough to concern Shi and in his own mind will have justified it. How the team performs on the pitch will determine how many 25-28k crowds we end up with.

I wonder if they even will release them. It’s really bothered me the past few days but I was never going to cave either. Was just talking about it to Helen and I’ve realised just how pissed off I am about it all.

I’d completely forgot about it tbh and only remembered when I saw all the people backtracking of Twitter. I think the fact that I wasn’t even thinking about it justifies my stance.

In 2015-16 season they released totals the same evening as the 5pm deadline, so they clearly have the technology to do so.
Think they did the same last season, but knowing the way this Wolves board works they will conceal it for as long as possible.

How many Season Ticket holders did we have last season? 20,000 or 22,000? I'm sure it was in that range.

I'm expecting about 16-17,000 sales at most.

If it was a really good take up you'd think they'd be shouting about it as justification.

22,000 or so, the most we're allowed to sell as you have to hold a certain percentage back for general sale.

I think those renewing have every right to protest about the cost - whether its for themselves and their pocket OR for others who are being priced out.

I don't feel that it somehow makes one a hypocrit because they then go and purchase a ST.

I think it's more making a big song and dance about how you won't renew and it's a disgrace then backing down at the last minute.

Ignoring the fact that I haven't changed my mind and never came close to doing so, I couldn't in all good conscience have written those four articles and additional Twitter posts then renewed anyway.

The general stance of "this is appalling, but they've got me where they want me, I'll end up paying despite being very unhappy about it" is fine, it's not one I personally took but I'm not going to judge anyone who did.

I think he overestimates how much people care what he thinks or does. I'm sure his "comedy" is for some people but I think I'd rather watch the full boxset of Oh Doctor Beeching than what he offers.

But whoever you are, it is a very bad look to go with a big stance then completely do the opposite a fortnight later.

Exactly this.

Always the way though isn't it.

I bet take up was only slightly lower than ever, and they'll hide behind VAR as being the reason rather than cost anyway.

So… when do I need to get on the waiting list!

Oh Dr Beeching was brilliant..

I can understand the initial outrage but then begrudgingly renewing because it's something you really like doing.

I guess different people process things differently

Something about the duality of man I guess

The figures are probably not going to be great as they would be shouting from the rooftops by now if they were.

How many to people think? I think 16-17,000 sold.
