Ruben Neves

Christ the first response to that tweet.

Without a doubt the best player I have seen in a Wolves shirt. Keane is the only one who comes close, he was an unbelievable talent when he broke into the side but the comparison between where Keane was when he left and where Neves is now is miles apart.

He’s fucking immense and he’s nowhere near his peak, he’s going to be a true world star. I’ll never forget that pass to Doherty against Boro back in August, I was right in line with Doherty’s run in the South Bank and when he hit it I thought ‘what the fuck is that?’ When I saw where and how it landed I was truly lost for words, up there with a lot of great Wolves memories. And he’s just getting better by the week!

I’ll miss him when he’s gone as he’s fucking special but he deserves to be playing at the very top.

Incredible pass but I'd say his ball to Helder for our second goal vs Reading was even better. The amount of spin on that should be impossible.

The 2nd one... "@OfficialWolves what a joke!! Who would take the job now!! Why didn't you just stick with Stale? Not Deano's fault ffs!! #poisonedchalis" :yikes:

This is my favourite :

@OfficialWolves i honestly don't see that he was at fault. Anyway why would you savk a proven league 1 manager #deansaunders
#fuckoffmorgan

We've come a long way.

Oh it was by a mile, the control he had on that ball was just plain rude. The one against Boro will just stick in my mind as my first ‘fuck me’ Neves moment, I didn’t even know Doherty was there and I had an arguably better vantage point. There aren’t many players who can dictate play like that from so deep, and even fewer who can do stuff people just don’t expect on a regular basis.

The noises I've heard grown men make while watching Ruben Neves play football this season... I'll never look at AikiWolf the same way again...

50% of me wants him to have a blistering World Cup.
50% of me wants him to sit on the bench all the time and come back to us fresh and not injured

Simple fact is how long we get to see him in our shirt depends entirely on whether our progress can match what he deserves for that outrageous talent. If, and it is a HUGE if, we can push significantly toward the higher echelons of the top flight then maybe we get to keep him long term. Otherwise he leaves with our blessings at the end of next season, and almost certainly for something north of £50m. Probably even more than that.

Exactly that. When Wolves score I scream "Yeeeesssss." When Neves scored against Sheffield United I simply went "Ohhhhhhhh..."

Ridiculous goal. I'm sat behind it. Almost right to the last second I'm convinced it's going comfortably wide. Clink, in.

Fucking magician, man.

He's got some understanding going with Costa.

He's genuinely improved as the season has gone on. Look at the poll we did on Player of the Season so far at around the halfway point, he didn't get many votes. He'd been great, but not the real standout. However since Christmas he has been out of this world.

I'm sticking with what I said about six months ago - he's the closest I've seen in world football to Paul Scholes since he retired.

Yeah and some still think Coady is the player of the season...

Easily the best player I’ve seen in a Wolves shirt. Some of the passes he has made are just ridiculous.

Best I've seen in my 35 years, by a country mile.

I'm so excited to see how he will cope in the Premier League. Along with Boly, Cav, Costa and Jota.

Coady has been a magnificent captain and I think people are more impressed by his improvement compared to last season
