personally i've found i can enjoy top sporting performance regardless of any thoughts i might have about drug taking. at the time ben johnson's 100m in 1988 was a thing of beauty to me. i have no problem with people questioning results and how they are achieved accepting there is a difference between questioning and full on accusation. if athletes don't like that, then they can try a different career, it comes with the territory especially in a sport like cycling. of course many athletes today are taking peds of some sort, some of which may be deemed legitimately allowed due to existing illnesses etc. i mean that was what sharapova did for years. as for flojo's world records.....
i've always been a massive fan of british track cycling and brad wiggins. but i metaphorically puked inside when he fawned all over armstrong on his return to the tour back in the day. never been quite the same for me since then i'm afraid.
i think the Science of Sport website does some great analysis btw.
