I don’t believe a word he or anyone from Fosun say.

They have a hell of a job rebuilding trust with the fanbase, so let’s see some positive and swift action rather than words because without the action, their words mean nothing.
Part of the problem is that, unfortunately, a stuffy draw on Saturday ‘rebuilds trust’ with half the fanbase.

Does it fuck. The remaining games of this season mean absolutely fuck all. The ultimate dead rubbers.

Maybe not "half the fan base" but every fan who excused ticket prices increases, lack of investment and more will lap up a pat on the head from Nathan Shi and a point against Spurs.

Not now the fate is confimed (and bloody early). The point is now meaningless, apart from maybe dragging Spurs into the championship cesspit as well (which would to all intents and purposes but counter-productive for next season, if very amusing).

If anything, the team putting in some sort of effort and pride when it no longer matters a jot would actually be more annoying.

We’ve (in general, not you and me) been here before.
Please don’t confuse fans that go to games with fans that excuse the ticket prices.
I go because I feel it’s more my club than Fosuns, but at the same time totally oppose the increases and voice that at a level beyond open letters on social media.

Sorry I should have made clearer that I don't begrudge anyone renewing, my distinction was aimed exclusively at those actively suggesting we can't compete without ticket increases and swallowing the crap the club peddle(d) about prices, well we put them up and still didn't compete so where are these idiots now?

Same people would cry 'we can't do a man city' when a lack of investment was brought up. When that was never being suggested.

It's these who I fancy will soon forget all that came before now Nathan Shi has put out a fluffy statement and made them feel loved.

Jeff Shi having you over a barrell because you love Wolves and then subjecting you to watch what you have while paying the thick end of £750-1000 each ought to contravene the Geneva Convention.

Club had to say something and more will follow. As i said yesterday, that is fine but what matters is what then follows in the actions.

I am glad its Nath Shi speaking as he does at least come across as level headed and shows a degree of understanding. Imagine the shite Jeff would have puked out via ChatGPT.

Could be worse on the comms front - Take Leicester as an example, they can be relegated to L1 this week and chose that backdrop to announce a celebration of when they were a bit good and won a league. Jeff levels of awareness right there.

Next up for us will be Rob. Whilst not all on him and he inherited an absolute rabble of shit, he needs to own where he has gone wrong. It will mean nothing in the grand scheme of things as he is safe, but just some awareness please Robert.

There were still people clapping the team off at Elland Road after the game on Saturday.

It would have been more "Just a technical term" stuff presumably. Completely forgot he said that till I saw it elsewhere, trying to forget him and not be annoyed but its not easy.

Based on what I see and hear at the ground and on various podcasts I’d say it does. Granted, it’s not a data based comment! I don’t like it as my views on the suitability of Edwards are pretty blunt, but right now the majority view on him can switch to very favourable with pretty much no meaningful evidence at all, just as much as they could go the other way. Could some stuffy results now shore him up for a good period of time despite their being plenty of good reasons for him to go? Certainly. Just listen to how his ‘good run’ is already being fondly remembered. It’s assuming the same proportions as Lage’s ‘unbelievable first 3 games’ in the minds of some. Drives me mad, but there you go. They can all pat themselves on the back for being patient and holier than thou when we’re shit next season having wasted a summer amassing a golf club chumocracy squad led by a Slug and Lettuce of a manager.

The way this club has been completely bulleted over the last few years is little short of criminal.

This would have been the easiest thing in the world for a decently-established Premier League club to avoid, and the fact that this season has been quite as pathetic as it has been should haunt everyone involved to the ends of their careers.

One of the REALLY frustrating things amongst all this, is that Jeff Shi never really got the full wrath from the fans for what he’s done. He’s taken the club back years and is largely responsible for where we find ourselves now. But he’s scuttled off to the background somewhere (even though we all know he’s still involved and got his dirty mits on Wolves in some form), so doesn’t need to front up or show some remorse (ha!) for his failings.

Absolute cunt of a man and I can’t believe he didn’t get more stick while the opportunity was there.

He got plenty of stick in the ground towards the end.

You're absolutely right.

However, so are Mel and Derby Wolf, there are plenty of fans who twist in the wind based on the very last game/performance. It's infuriating.

Relegation was all but confirmed in added time against Burnley. It would be nice to be in a position to be optimistic that we can bounce back next season. Sad to say but it is probably in the club’s best interests that we get stuffed in the remainder of our games making Edwards position untenable. I still don’t have a clue how he’d like to set a team up other than sit deep and hope to hit the opposition on the break. That won’t work in the Championship and whilst he hasn’t had a lot to work with he’s certainly not got the best out of what he does have available. The future is not bright and I fear it will get darker before it is.
