I haven't posted here for close on 3 months although I have occasionally popped in to see what's being discussed but frankly it's been pretty much the same talking points all season now.
In nearly 60 years supporting/following Wolves this has been the 9th relegation I've experienced and it's quite unique . . . I simply don't care anymore. All the others were painful in one way or another - this one is simply meh.
The last few seasons/years have pretty well sucked the life out of my love and enthusiasm for the club - it's going to take a major reset (i.e what DW suggested with a Mick or Kenny appointment) plus a new ownership for me to regain following the club with any care. I no longer watch any football now and my only contact with the game now is refereeing for high school kids.
I'm even at the point of tossing in The Wolves Archive - I'm at a stage of my life where my time is more precious in what I do then spend any more time wasting it on a club that for a number of years has shit on it supporters in its' total incompetence and mismanagement in just about all facets of running a football club.
I’m surprised by the number of posts on social media from fans saying “woo-hoo no VAR, 3pm Saturday kick-offs happy days.” I think they’re all in for a short sharp shock if they believe it’ll be party time every Saturday afternoon.
Posted this before, but Leicester didn’t have a home game at 3pm on a Saturday until late November. It's Catch 22, you only get a reasonable number if you are shit
