REFERENDUM RESULTS AND DISCUSSION THREAD

Ah so this it the International Law version of "I only drove to that place to test my eyesight"

First indication that US Congress is alarmed at Johnson and his incompetent VoteLeave government threatening to break international law. The US has an interest because it is a guarantor to the peace accord.

Joe Biden is an Irish Catholic (well, the American version of it) too.

Both Biden and Pelosi have spoken explicitly about it now, the latter saying there won't be a trade agreement passed through Congress whilst we break International agreements. Trump has said what a great bloke Johnson is

EU commission: this bill is a serious violation of international law

Pob: I am striving for success.

Errr? What by breaching the law and destroying trust which means no trade deals anywhere? Fucking idiot.

Anybody that voted for brexit will just presume it's all the EU's fault. In fact it'll end up solidifying their view; this is why we voted out, they're stopping us from doing what we want. Pricks.

He banged on that his Land Rover defender rip off the Ineos grenadier would be designed and built in Britain from British parts cost £25k and be a new British icon, it's now Austrian engineered, BMW engined and going to be built in France and around the 40-50k mark

The U.K. is spending £470m on new border facilities in preparation for the end of the Brexit transition period, when new checks will be applied on trade with the European Union.

Even if Britain and the EU sign a free-trade agreement, traders will face new procedures and extra infrastructure is required to cope, the Cabinet Office said in an emailed statement. A £200m fund for ports is now open for applications, and £270m will be allocated to building inland customs facilities, the Cabinet Office said.

Sounds a bit like when I used to hire Hoddle on Football Manager and send him on a never ending scouting mission to Ethiopia. Then deliberately delete all his reports without reading them.

Petty, but brilliant, and really funny!
