So we were already getting a 0% tariff on Soy(a) sauce from Japan through the EU anyway. Apart from that and the fact that 2 of the most popular brands originate in South Wales and the Netherlands they were almost* spot on.

* The cheaper bit would be from 1st January as a WTO global tariff of 6% (from Japan only and not South Wales) has been negated by striking the Trade Deal with Japan. It would be nice if we were to know soon what the price of the Dutch stuff will be.

It might help push the Government into ensuring that there is a trade deal with the EU, if Biden wins. I think that a deal of some sort with the US will happen regardless of who is in charge. The rhetoric around the deal will be different as the two blond bullshitters won't be able to try and sell it as something huge when the reality will be it will never replace what we have with our near neighbours.
