REFERENDUM RESULTS AND DISCUSSION THREAD

It's a frequent cry of Leave voters that they completely reject the notion that they've aligned themselves with racist types.

Well...

Yes, it's real. Who drew that up, Lil' Marky Francois?

Not too hard to see why my German colleague is feeling uncomfortable at the moment.

So we are going to get a Saturday sitting

A lot of journo's seem to think as there will be no deal with the EU to vote on, Boris is going to put a number of options up for the House to vote on, some think revoke will be one. Plan is that not one voted on will get through (like they did under May) so Boris can then say the HoC is not fit for purpose and an election is needed and go all in on No Deal the moment he wins (which he will)

that Leave Uk poster is the most offensive thing i have seen come out of this Brexit Bollocks, and as PM, Brexit on the 31st or not, Doris should publicly apologise to Merkel and the Germans immeadiately.

Rebellion of about 50 One Nation Tories staved off by Johnson promising that No Deal won't be a manifesto pledge.

Of course, the value of a Johnson promise isn't very much, but it shows how boxed in the Tories are- they'd have to jettison large chunks of the party to try and outflank Farage.

About as solid as his promise not to shut down Parliament if they all voted for him to be their new leader

If the Tories don't have No Deal as a manifesto pledge they will lose a good 10-15% to the Brexit Party.

Won't be enough to get many Brexit MP'S though - might stop them getting a majority - whether that helps is another matter as depends who else can carry Parliament with them.

The Brexit Party Ltd will not win many seats at all.

Farage is toxic, as he's a cunt.

Farage Ltd can't get enough of the vote to get anywhere near power, but they can certainly piss on the Tories' chips if they so wish.

They're boxed in- nothing short of No Deal will outflank Farage, but they'll lose everyone but the headbangers in doing so. Their only real chance is some industrial-grade fudge.

No Deal is so easy to unpick though?

Who is going to vote to throw themselves off a cliff?

No Deal hasn't got anywhere close to a majority in public opinion. The blue rinse brigade are gagging for it, but there are plenty of Tory businessmen who'll be horrified at the thought. There's every chance they lose comparable numbers of voters to the Lib Dems by going No Deal as they'd lose to Farage Inc. if they don't.

Just imagine though speaking to Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson and thinking "yeah, I believe him".

He lies every second of every day.

"One Nation Tories" are fucking idiots.

This is just 1 example.

One of my aunties, a proper Tories can fuck off type. Would have stamped on Maggie's face given the chance. Would have voted for a plant pot in an election if the only other option was a Tory.
For the last month she has been sharing " I stand with Boris" images on Facebook and today a video of Thatcher talking about Europe and how it can never be allowed to control us or some other bollocks.
