REFERENDUM RESULTS AND DISCUSSION THREAD

We've paid for this propaganda which is what pisses me off.

This is annoying me too. We are pissing millions up the wall on preparing for a possible no deal Brexit just to try and scare people into approving May's deal. Such a huge waste of money when all they need to actually do is come out and say is that they won't let a no deal Brexit happen. Absolute cunts, the lot of them.

People are actually going to die because of this shit. I ain't going to be forgiving any of the 17.4m who caused this.

Edit - accidental upside, a lot of the gammon contingent will be dependent on prescriptions. The racist fuckers might just die off.
Numerous austerity policies since 2010 have resulted in increased preventable deaths through various sectors of society. This one issue is merely symbolic of a deeper underlying intention of a number of power brokers using perceptions to shape national and international politics to further their own ends.

We essentially have people in power who believe that money is more important than people.

The sleight of hand in detracting focus onto various single issues has been a raging success. Debt, the deficit, immigration, benefits scroungers, the feckless, etc etc.

Wouldn't be surprised if he's good mates with, related by marriage, went to school with a minister or somebody with a bit of power in the government,as blackadder might say,it's fishier than a fish on the fishiest day of the year

It's alleged that the owner of seabourne lives down the road from grayling, and they sit on the same school governers board.
I saw elsewhere that Mays husband is a director of seabourne too.

Won't be a problem according to NHS.
Mind you they're not exactly the experts on running health care and not killing people off tbh.

Most NHS employees I know seem to think that is EXACTLY how it is going to be.

NHS: This is not an official NHS leaflet. People should trust advice from official NHS sources. We are confident that if everyone does what they need to do medical supplies will be uninterrupted, and patients will get their prescriptions as normal.

Project fear.

It's been released by the GOVERNMENT.

To explain - this is now the government happily releasing stuff that could definitely be called PROJECT FEAR to simply try and scare their MPs into voting for a true shite deal just to avoid apocalypse.

May is going to do and say anything to try and get her abomination of a deal through. Once that deal dies then we should get some real clarity about where we are actually going. That deal at the moment is acting as a distraction.

I still think she is going to listen to Davies and kick the can down the road for another month to try and scare the MPs into saying yes because we will be about a week from a cliff when it finally comes round to it. This cannot be allowed to continue. The DUP position is utterly clear - they will not support her deal, and so it cannot pass. As an aside, No Deal cliff with a hard border in Ireland strangely suits a Unionist extreme party of utter nutjobs perfectly.

Just stick your fingers in your ears, shut your eyes and denounce it as Project Fear. Everything will be fine...

Groundhog day

"Rule out no deal"

"If you want to avoid no deal, vote for this deal"

She's certainly fucking stubborn.

Well the only way to avoid no deal is to agree a different path, it's not enough to simply say you're not going to leave with no deal as it'll just sneak up and happen.

You could put up a motion to extend Article 50 in such a scenario to ensure that it doesn't happen.

MP's now voting on the Grieve amendment to force the PM (or whoever is in charge then) back to the house within 3 days with a Plan B, rather than the 21 days that I think is currently in place.

Conservative whips are trying anything they can to undermine the speaker as they don't like the answers he is giving them.
