REFERENDUM RESULTS AND DISCUSSION THREAD

Pre match drinks isn't a special society you need to be invited to. We're usually in the same place, so come along and say hello, it's one big love-in and I'm very 'handsy'.

Well Cyber, nearly in the words of Mission-Impossible, I have a challenge for you if you are willing to accept... Because my work rosters are a bunch of cunts I now can't make the Spurs game next Saturday. If you are interested in using my ST for the game, drop me a PM

On match days we pretty much talk football, watch football and drink beer and it's all very civilised! The only problem is I won't be there to meet you
 
Don't do it Cyber...IT'S A TRAP (they do drink beer..waaaay too much beer...but its not civilised. A pack of animals who pour beer on peoples heads & put bottles of mayo in strangers jackets)

I don't agree with Cyber hardly ever on here, but some of the replies do come across a little heavy handed at times. I have to say.

Regardless of the party that is giving the stick to Ms Merkel this is quite some lashing from a non Brit!

The AfD is too far out for me, but Frau Merkel's face during that was a picture - wasps/bulldogs & chewing comes into mind.

They are a right of centre party and I know little about them but I did like the speech. It was all about trade , fairness and EU ambition and how the policy was to punish us for daring to try to leave. Now I cant speak for her parties politics or policies . But it does show that there are parties in Europe who empathise with the current UK position.
 
AfD aren't the only ones - Victor Orban (President of Hungary) leads a similar party (Five Star Movement & League - previously the Northern League - in Italy are others & there are worse Golden Dawn in Greece for example)

Some of the stuff they have proposed I can't subscribe to, but it is a movement which has gained traction & which the EU Commission needs to come to an understanding of an acceptable way forward.

They're a far right group. If you're comfortable with aligning yourself with racists in UKIP and the AfD that says an awful lot.

Yeah as I said I know nothing of the party policies or her politics but the speech was great even if only to see Ms Merkel squirm and shuffle a few papers. It does appear that there are other dissenting voices with regard to the EU negotiating strategy and that can only be good for the british position. If there is dissent within there may be compromise that can help us. However the speech was scathing!

Thats a giant leap! Someone votes labour, Corbyn is left wing YOURE A COMMUNIST. Theres a red under every bed you know.
