REFERENDUM RESULTS AND DISCUSSION THREAD

The man's a cunt, i hope that when civil unrest does break out he ends up like Mussolini.

Yep, this is his 'let them eat cake' moment. I hope he's strung up too the selfish cunt.

So Trump and Juncker agree to work towards zero tariffs between the US and the EU.

Excellent news for our hopes of securing a trade deal with the US more favourable than the EU has with them.

It's Trump though, he'll send a tweet tomorrow calling him a twat.

Anyone follow Carole Cadwalladr on twitter? She's doing a great job trying to expose all the lying/cheating by Vote Leave during the Referendum.

Her latest info is about how Vote Leave carried on pushing their dodgy Facebook ads the day after Jo Cox's death despite everybody agreeing to the 3 day hiatus.

There really were some right scumbags involved with their campaign.

The Facebook ads were beyond dodgy. Data harvesting with the promise of cash, such as a £50m prize (no one won that) and at no point do the ads state they are part of the Leave campaign

From LinkedIn;

Jaguar Land Rover has blamed Brexit uncertainty and China’s trade plans for its second quarter loss.Britain’s biggest carmaker reported a£264m pre-tax loss– its first quarterly loss in three years. Total sales fell 6.7% to £5.2bn, compared with a year earlier, with the company citing “multiple challenges”. The group pointed to concerns over theUK’s departure from the EU, while changes to import duties in China has seen some customers delay purchases.

From Linkedin daily update

Company revenues are forecast to fall in 2019 and business leaders are blaming Brexit, according to new research.A survey by data specialist MHR Analytics found93% of bosses expect revenue to fallin 2019, with more than half of respondents citing Brexit as the cause. Nick Felton, senior vice president at MHR said: “businesses are braced for significant turbulence next year.” The survey also pointed to reduced consumer spending while the introduction of new legislation, such as GDPR, is also expected to dampen company takings.

With so much uncertainty over Brexit why the hell have the BoE put up interest rates?

Looks like anyone involved in the jobs that defines the Country are pretty clueless.

Can some one please get the This post is certified as complete and utter weapons grade bollocks pic and save it in our smilies selection? I would use it A LOT.

If 160 Countries have to agree to the new tariff rates then how do the US change theirs so easily?

raab's statement and 24 documents on no deal planning are a laugh, right? I mean the priorities seem a bit skewed to me:

The cost of card payments between the UK and EU will "likely increase" and won't be covered by a ban on surcharges
unsurprising, but unclear what (if anything) the govt intend to do or foresee as an impact
Businesses trading with the EU should start planning for new customs checks, and might have to pay for new software or logistical help
stating the fucking obvious, but the question is what are they planning for? How are businesses going to know that the software, logistical support or other is going to meet their needs.
Britons living elsewhere in Europe could lose access to UK banking and pension services without EU action
ah, blaming the eu rather than exploring a solution...
UK organic food producers could face new hurdles to exporting to the EU
surprise! and the plan to address this is.....?
Pharmaceutical companies have been told to stockpile an extra six weeks' worth of medicine to ensure a "seamless" supply
:icon_lol: 6 weeks. cos that'll ensure everything is seamless. because it'll only take 6 weeks for everything to return to normal. based on their track record so far, we might need 6 years! There's optimism, then there's raabism.
The UK would continue to accept new medicines that have been tested in the EU
if we can access them...
Low-value parcels from the EU would no longer be eligible for VAT relief
?
New picture warnings will be needed for cigarette packets as the EU owns the copyright to the current ones
Is this really one of the big fucking issues we're facing? fuck me!

You've bought cigarettes in the EU, right?

I could smash a hole in the rest of the bullshit you have posted there too.

Right, I want to stay in the EU but please can this forum try and be a bit more balanced.
