REFERENDUM RESULTS AND DISCUSSION THREAD

Ian Robertson representing BMW UK has told the Beeb "If we don’t get clarity in the next couple of months we have to start making those contingency plans – which means investing money in systems that we might not need, in warehouses that might not be usable in the future, in effectively making the UK automotive industry less competitive than it is in a very competitive world right now". That's another 8k jobs at risk.

How come these Industrial losses are not discussed continually on the BBC?

Airbus was first item on BBC radio news all yesterday.

And the Daily Mail wankers had the cheek to run a front page with an interview with David Davies saying that the economy is going to be super brilliant because of the deal we are going to negotiate and the other side are going to automatically agree to.

Apparently our trump card is the fact that English is the chosen language in science and aerospace globally. Yeah. that fucking makes all the difference. Because it is used as the universal language in the skies (which only came about because of the Tenerife airport disaster in the seventies) EVERYBODY in that industry must speak it, wherever they are, so it doesn't mean they all have to stay here and speak it. Fucking numbskull.

Somebody pointed out on the comments on the guardian Airbus story that it's not a problem if Airbus pulls out of Wales,we can find somebody else to sell the wings that are made there to,and lower down in the comments, somebody else said they fly quite a lot,but had never flown Airbus,so they can't be that big an airline!

I can't stand Danny Dyer, but he has absolutely laid in to the Cameron for calling the referendum and then quitting afterwards, very funny.

Does he really need to spend time with him?

You would hope trying to come to a deal would include a little bit more than 4 hours of talks in nearly 7 months, especially as the end of the 2 years is not that far away now. It appears the meetings are basically a "Hello how are you....we want this...what do you mean no...well lets smile for the cameras on the way out....do this all again in 3 weeks?"

You don’t really think it’s them pair that are working on the deals and doing the negotiating?

No....but I would still expect the main man to be putting a bit more into this shizzle. All comes across as a guy taking the piss to earn the £££, especially when you see him front of the MP's committee bullshitting and trying to joke his way through some pretty important stuff.

He's known as a thick lazy shit isn't he? Thick as mince and lazy as a toad i think the exact quote was.

And when we take about 2 sheets of A4 to a meeting while the other side has 500 page documents.

He's a spoofer.

The "excruciating detail" reports were the tell. Never actually did them, a genuine bare faced lie, and had to do the most laughable rush job ever when they were ordered to show them. Basically all cribbed from Wiki.

It's an insult to amateurs to call our approach to this amateurish.
