Like Vis says it doesn't take many of them to stop any lunatic stuff from passing, it'll happen all the time IMO. The Queen's Speech should get through because otherwise we don't have a functioning Parliament or any realistic chance of one (plus it will be basically content-free, so there's nothing to vote down) but they can forget about anything else.

This is why I was so surprised by the First Secretary of State appointment. Green is a Europhile too. With such a slim majority she needs the biggest group of slimy sycophants on her front bench she can find.

Those that voted because we are GREAT Britain are going to have learn a salutary tale about our place in the world order.
 
I always expected the EU to play hard, however it isn't nice to see the people who lost the referendum, supporting people who want to give us a bad deal. We are leaving, maybe it would be a good idea to want to get a good deal, for your future and the future of your kids.

I know you can say that Brexiters have ruined the future, well they would have done it in good faith, not to fuck up the country, you are doing it out of revenge, nastiness and if the people who voted for this are stupid, it doesn't make the people any cleverer, wanting Germany and their servants to fuck up the future of your children.

It's a statement of fact, the EU holds the advantage on pretty much every area of discussion. If Wolves played Real Madrid tomorrow I'd want us to win, wouldn't make it very likely though and any objective analysis would lead you to the conclusion that we'd lose, heavily. Would that make me a Real Madrid fan?

This is why you assess risk when you make key decisions and don't just decide to take a running jump and hope it'll be ok based on nothing.

Nobody is supporting the EU giving us a bad deal, but there is absolutely no way we will have a better deal than when we were in the EU. Knowing this doesn't mean we support it, it means we know what is coming.

Obviously I know you will ignore this and call us remoaners etc....

Not everyone who voted to leave is stupid....but some people seem unable to grasp the subtlety of this debate.
