REFERENDUM RESULTS AND DISCUSSION THREAD

Are you saying that Macron is not backed by big money and the establishment? because if you are, I think you who is talking shit.
Macron will win, because globalisation will not accept a Le Pen victory. It would lead to the break up of the EU and set globalisation back years.

So it will be rigged?

Who do you think is voting?

Who the fuck are "globalisation" that will ensure Le Pen doesn't win?

Nonsense.

Are you sat in some Cordoban bunker with a tin foil hat on?

Jesus wept.

Macron will win because Le Pen has EXACTLY the same problem as Farage. A core of support that will not waver and the rest of the electorate are completely repulsed by her.

End of. No conspiracy here.

It will end up with the working class that is made to pay the price for the failures of globalisation and high levels of immigration, against the neoliberals, the middle class who mostly care about themselves, 2nd generation immigrants and the loony left. So yes, Macron will walk it.

So many cliches.

Macron will walk it because the majority of the french electorate see Le Pen for the racist bitch she is.

You forgot the Rothschilds.

A few people I've spoke to regret voting Conservative, feeling conned sort of, and are going to vote Labour.

I feel like neither deserve my vote. I don't feel either really give a crap about the working class. Yet we're the majority. Lib Dems pull ya finger out.

There was a poll taken yesterday of people who had voted for other right wing candidates in Sunday's election. Half said they would vote for Macron, a third for La Pen and the rest would abstain.

She got 7 million votes in the first election and needs another 14 million or so, hard to see where she will get them based on that.

La Pen only gets around 5% in Paris, massively unliked in the capital.

I think the way you post haha as almost a signpost so we can easily spot the bunglecuntery is rather charming.

It's a shibboleth for twattery.

No. He will win it because the french voters actually DON'T want to leave the EU.

67% who expressed a view would vote stay. In December 2015 brexit was getting a 45% backing. We know that swung. I can't see a 12% swing to le pen though. The only way the French vote frexit is with le pen in power

You are looking at reversing a 2 to 1 ratio at the moment.

To put that in perspective that is a bigger vote share than the party in power gets in just about its safest seats. Witney is about 62% Conservative vote, as a comparator.

No swing is getting even close to reversing that.

You're right that no swing is going to happen, that's undeniable. The worry is about abstention levels because FN voters don't abstain and high abstention could skew things in Le Pen's favour.

Personally I can't see that happening, unless the Russian hackers have something very dirty on Macron.
