Looks like the Euro is the big loser from Trump winning. What level do we think it will fall to?

Shame. My bottom line was thoroughly appreciating the weak pound v. euro.
It seems to be hovering around the 1.16 mark. I'm happy if it stays there.

Inflation, measured by Consumer Price Index, fell to 0.9% in October, down from 1.0% in September, ONS says

I think it really depends on two factors. If OPEC restrict oil supplies to push the price up that is a massive inflationary pressure over which we have no control. The housing market inflation might pick up again. I think 3-4 per cent inflation is probably the long term sustainable point. Very unlikely to see 10 to 15 per cent unless something goes really drastically wrong, as there is no wage inflation to pay for the higher prices.

It's ok, we have Gove pushing the merits of just pulling out of the EU as soon as humanly possible.

I am not worried about transitional arrangements, I am prepared to take the economic hit or to secure the economic benefits of not being inside the single market and being outside the customs union.

Well I'm glad you've personally accepted that hit on behalf of everyone, mate. How long is it going to last? Five years? Ten? More? You do realise that if there were a long standing economic impact - which you now seem to concede is an inevitability to an extent - even if we did recover in our brave new world (highly dubious) it would take us decades to just catch up to where we were before any of this absolute nonsense?

What a bloody stupid comment, although I'm sure it's probably only Johnson's sense of humour that has been missed.

The Bloomberg article suggests that both the Italians and the Dutch see the need to get an agreement in place.
He was meeting a minister of another country and not entertaining an audience at the Apollo.

Of course you can have a little joke. However this wasn't a joke. It is an example of this man's arrogance.
