Is there any truth in ' A way to a mans heart is through his stomach ' ?

Would you say most men do something nice for their partners in the hope of getting something nice back ?

I can't speak for other people, but a smile on my wife's face and a thank you are all I need in return.

It's one of the ways, certainly. Cook me something nice and I'll appreciate it.

I don't know about 'most' men, but personally, if I do something nice it's because I like the person I'm doing it for, not because I want something in return. And if I'm with someone nice, I'll get something nice in return anyway, without having to expect it.

Not all men are the same, PPB!!

All men like good food so to an extent yes.

I'm single now but not in my case. I like doing nice things for people who I like (despite me apparently being the most arrogant person in the world). I don't really ever want anything. Can't speak for others.

Is there any truth in ' A way to a mans heart is through his stomach ' ? A knife through the shirt pocket is quickest and easiest route

Would you say most men do something nice for their partners in the hope of getting something nice back ? Not in this house Missy
